The inspiration for this plaid and skinny jeans look came from my daughter. She just looked so cute in her plaid top with black leggings and flats outfit the other day. It almost made me want to wear leggings too, hehe. But if you’re like me who tries to avoid the leggings trend like a plague, skinny jeans or straight-cut jeans would do. I don’t mind leggings on children but I have issues on some grown Women wearing it, ALL THE TIME.
Anyhoo, this is my look for less version of plaid top and skinny jeans outfit.
Under $100 Look : Tube Top & Trouser
You don’t need to wear the sweater top over this lovely ruched tube top if you don’t want to. I figured I’d add it for an accessory option for those cold nights. The tube top can definitely transition into spring and summer. You should see the braided trim under the bust. Sooo gorgeous.

I love how Kristin Cavallari approaches fashion. Her style is simplified yet always chic and gorgeous. She doesn’t go overboard. She uses a few pieces and she’s done. I’ve had this picture of Kristin Cavallari in blue smocked tube embroidered dress with gold accessories for weeks now and have been searching a similar dress for less for a while.
