For last night’s Valentine’s Day outfit, I opted for a top and trouser look. Black as the basic and red for accents. It was cold last night and I really didn’t feel like wearing tights underneath a dress. If I was going to wear a dress, I wanted to show my bare legs with sexy black stilettos. Know what I mean? With the cold weather who refuses to leave North Carolina, freaking ey, I decided to go with pants instead.

As part of my birthday gifts from the Hubby, besides the bargain shopping spree(1, 2, 3, more to be posted), and a surprise blog greeting, is this tennis bracelet. Like my favorite icon, Marilyn Monroe said, “Diamonds are a girl’s bestfriend“.
I apologize for the quality of the pictures. I’m still using a Samsung compact digital camera even though everyone and their Mamas have upgraded to DSLR’s. But don’t worry, I’ll have the last part of my birthday loot posted soon which by the way is a better camera upgrade. Well to me anyway .
