Isn’t this satin tube dress with floral lace print gorgeous? Just look at all the intricate details. I was going to create an Under $100 look using it but I think it deserves to have it’s own attention. It’s too pretty . A solid color bolero will make this perfect for Fall. Boots? Sure why not. Come spring and summer, go for stilettos or pumps.

This could be an option for a beautiful dress for a special occasion as well. The colors are under the tribal tone which is always a beautiful creation in my opinion. How much? It’s only $22.80. Race you to Forever21?

Do I have to write an editorial on how many wrong things are in this Metallic Lame’ Tube Dress? I don’t think that’s necessary. I think you and I understand exactly why this is such a LAME dress. On every level. To quote Nina Garcia from one of the episodes of Project Runway this season :

“shiny, tight and short is the quickest way to look cheap“.

Tie Dye Print Tube Maxi Dress

While I’m not much for tie dye prints, I’m drooling over this aqua & brown tie dye print tube maxi dress from Forever21. It’s been a while since I sported a boho-chic look. And this maxi dress just made me think of that. A simple pair of gladiator flats or flip flops and you’re good. I might even use a scarf as a head band to my big head to go all out. Or maybe not…LOL. $27.80

3 Dresses I Want From Forever21

I was virtual shopping the other night hoping to spend my $30 prize money but the dresses I wanted from Forever21 were already gone. Bummer. I should’ve bought them as soon as I posted them here. But anyway, I ended up not ordering any. As I check the site today, I saw 3 summer dresses that I really really like. Except I can’t decide which one to get. I might get 2 but just not sure which ones. Here they are :

Embroidered Cotton Dress, $22.80

Daisy Sundress, $22.80

Yellow Tube Dress, $22.80

Like I said, I really like all of them. And I must tell you that I’m not feeling good lately, abscess tooth and all so retail therapy is looking more and more tempting at this moment. So I need your help to decide…LOL. If it’s up to me I’ll buy 3, like I said, retail therapy, which I know is bad. So help me decide which of these summer dresses I should get. Thanks in advance.

I love this Forever21 Blue Floral Printed Tube Dress. Isn’t it gorgeous? Spring, summer, beach cove-up, you name it. Love the floral print trim on the smocked bust and hem then the vines on the body as well. It’s only $17.80 so YAY! Such a bargain huh? It’s available in green too, just to let you know. .

My Own Affair W/ [Bargain] Dresses

I’m following(copying, whatever )in Sasha’s footsteps and declare my own love affair with dresses. Next to shoes(except sneakers and flats), I go insane over dresses. Classics, prints, different fabrics/cuts/styles, bring ‘em all. I wear it during Spring/Summer season with heels and wedges and during Fall/Winter with my knee-high boots. I have my own collection, albeit shoes takes more precedence, I’m slowly getting there in having quite a reasonable selection. In this inset picture(I cropped my hubby’s picture out), I’m wearing a black halter print dress that I found at AAFES years ago for less than $20 I think. I’ve covered it with a Metro7 velvet gray 3/4 sleeves shrug from Walmart, on sale for $3, since it was a cold day in December of last year when I wore it. Stilettos in December, yet cold? Well, that’s the benefit of living in North Carolina. You would still feel the winter cold without running into snow which is AWE-SOME. We’ve lived in NY for 8 years therefore winter without snow in NC is like eating a huge slice of devil’s chocolate cake topped with dollops of whipped cream and a cherry on top. Uh huh. FYI, this picture was taken 4 months post-baby. I’ve lost quite a few more pounds since then. Plus sexy bangs to boot. Just thought I’d throw that in there .

Now on to some of my dresses I picked for this entry…

Plum Halter-Tube Eyelet Dress
I dugged this among the great bargains at ROSS. It was tagged $3.99. I absolutely love the color and you just can’t beat that price. This is the dress I casually mentioned when I showed you my picks from Clothez 2 The Edge store. It has a cord tie-belt around the waist. I haven’t worn it yet coz I’ve reserved it for our vacation in NY at the end of this month.

Multicolor Flower Print Tube Dress
There is a blue rose pin and blue ribbon to accentuate this lovely printed tube dress. This is perfect for a garden wedding party or at Church with a white cropped shrug. If I remember it right, I paid $12 for it from AAFES. The same year I bought the black printed halter dress above.

Tan Brown V-Neck Polka-Dot Wrap Dress
This is the tan version of the black polka-dot dress I found from Goody’s for only $4.99. The original price was $30 so it’s definitely a STEAL. I like to have the same things in different colors so when I saw this tan brown color 2 months after I bought the black version I was smiling for ear to ear .
