Like I promised yesterday, here is the first installment of my Maxi Dress Fashion show (haha). My spring look wearing the Forever21 Paisley Print Maxi Dress.

This paisley maxi dress is gorgeous if I say so myself. Actually, my husband said it’s pretty . It’s also very comfortable and light. I have to tell you though that the dress is floor length. In the standing picture, notice how I was scrunching it on the side? Because it’s long and I wanted to show my gladiator flats in the picture too. I am 5′7 and the dress is still long for me. So if you are less than 5′7 height, you might have to get the hem shortened so you’re not dragging a tail when you wear it.

Overall, I love this maxi dress. And the whole thing (except the watch and bracelet) costs me $44.79

Look For Less : Embroidered Dress & Flats

I was going to leave Forever21 alone for a week but I couldn’t help myself and visited this Tuesday morning to check on new dresses. I saw a red strapless embroidered dress which I thought is pretty. In the end I decided to feature the blue dress version for this Spring/Summer Look For Less outfit instead of the red.

That tribal medallion necklace is pretty, isn’t it? I would probably wear that with pretty much anything. The black quilted tote is lovely too and will definitely match any outfit. The size and affordable price fits my lifestyle. The overall total of this Look 4 Less ensemble is $97.18.

The sweater cardigan should be worn unbuttoned. Make the outfit fun by adding color through the shoes. Cute eh? This would also work with a pair of Chuck Taylor’s. An under $100 look that would work with flats, heels, or canvas sneakers. Now that’s what we call versatile styling . Overall total is $98.68.

That gladiator pumps is to die for. I don’t think I’ll be over the gladiator trend this year. Especially if it looks like the one in the picture. It adds such an oomph into any outfit. Except the gladiator boots of course. Now that’s a no-no .

Under $100 Look : Connected Apparel Floral Print Swing Dress & Boots

This Connected Apparel Placement Print Swing Dress has haunted me for months. It goes way back to last year. Before and during the holidays. See, I wanted it, but I wasn’t willing to pay the sale price yet. 2 days ago was a different story. It’s finally on sale with a price tag I am very willing to pay for. Under $100 Look : Magenta Tiered Dress

Step away from your LBD for a bit. Don’t get me wrong, I am a HUGE fan of Little Black Dresses but it’s ok to go for other colors like magenta sometimes. Especially if it is like this tiered strapless dress from Forever21. Can you believe it’s under $25?
