I wouldn’t be able to dish out bargain looks for everyone if I didn’t do it myself with my own wardrobe, right? It’s definitely a way of life, this Style It Less venture. Here’s a round-up of all my 2008 Bargain Looks for a walk down memory lane.

I’m surprised I only have 25 bargain looks under the 2008 archives. Interestingly enough, that’s just 1 more from the bargain looks of 2007. I guess I’ll just have to increase that number even more for 2009.

Under $50 Look : Ruffled Tiered Top, Jeans and Flats

I wore my ruffled tiered top this past Thanksgiving. We had our own intimate dinner at our house where I cooked everything by the way. Even if we were just in our house, that doesn’t stop me (or the family) from looking nice for the Holidays. Interestingly enough, I was going to wear the top 2 days before Thanksgiving when I had to go to Wal-Mart to pick up other stuff for the dinner. My husband looked at me that day and said, "Baby, that top is too pretty for Wal-Mart". So I changed into a basic blue drawstring top instead. I figured the ruffled tiered top would fit the special occasion of Thanksgiving .

Under $50 SIL Look : Tunic, Shorts & Wedge

Ok, I’m back, and here’s what I wore today. I figured I might as well show you, right? But first I must say that today I wanted to look like a HOT Mama. See, I’ve been wearing my gladiator sandals a lot (shorts, dresses) and as much as I love keeping in with the trend, I wasn’t really feeling like HOT. Maybe trendy Mama, but not Hot Mama. I was comfy but not hot. So instead of the usual flats with shorts, I decided to add some height, hence the wedge. I wasn’t about to wear pumps with shorts. I love it ala Anne Hathaway, but that will be over indulging right yonder where I live.. LOL. So wedge was the best option. Anyhooooooo

I know what you’re thinking. The pink and black top with green shorts? Well I wasn’t really thinking about color scheme today. I wanted to wear the top and I know with it’s retro print, I have to wear something solid with it. I wore a denim short yesterday so I didn’t want another denim one today. I figured the green will go with the tan brown bag..hehe. It looks fine, right? I know the people looking at me today weren’t thinking of the colors combo, heh!

I’m really obsessed with Maxi Dresses this season. I believe it’s very flattering to my body type. The flowy skirt hides my huge children-baring hips..LOL. Plus it’s so easy to make it work. You don’t need much really. A pair of nice flats and accessories are optional.

I’ve seen a lot of celebs rocking the garden floral dress with heels look these days so I thought I’d create one for us too. Unfortunately though the floral bubble dress I first found is only available in size S . But don’t worry coz I’ll keep looking for other dresses for M and L sizes. Just keep coming back

White Smocked Dress & Floral Green Espadrille, Under $35 Look

There’s a funny story about this Breakin’ Loose White Spaghetti straps Smocked dress. I didn’t know I had it…LOL. I was setting bags aside in my room yesterday so the Hubs could vacuum and run the carpet cleaner when I came upon a bag from Goody’s. I was surprised to find this white smocked dress. Suffice it to say, I wore it when we went out to run some errands .
