TJ Maxx Spring 2008 Preview : Tops & Bottoms

So I’ve shown you previews of the TJ Maxx Spring Dresses and Jackets, I bet you’re wondering how the tops and bottoms would look like. Well fret no more coz I’ve got them just for you . Let me tell ya’ll, they’re beautiful. Tops showing prints ranging from geometric, to flowing sheer fabrics, all the way to the feminine details such as lace trims, linens, and embroidery. Hallelujah, blouse(with full sleeves) and skirt combos have also made a comeback with the versatility of pairing each with other things. Pay attention to volumes when it comes to full skirts. I am loving the pleated eyelet and knee-length pencil style. As far as the bottoms go, wide-leg pants in linen as well as denims are styled with sailor inspired cuts and buttons. You can also have fun with madras plaid capris or bermudas. Pay attention to the accessories as well. LOTS of bold colors, and sizes to get us all excited for 2008 Spring.

SIL Fashionista : Ruched Tunic, Wide Leg Jeans, & Burgundy Flats

It’s actually warm today. For the past few days it’s been about 35 degrees cold. But not today. Thank goodness. Perfect timing to wear this ensemble.

Can you believe that wide-leg jeans is only $14.99. I bought it at Wal-Mart the other day, heh. I don’t expect the wide-leg trend to last at all. I already have a pair but I fell in love with the dark-wash tone on this Faded Glory pair so I figured why not? It wouldn’t hurt to have 2 pairs of wide-leg jeans. Not to mention it’s under $20

Did you like how I paired the Blue tunic with the burgundy flats? Adventurously bold if I say so myself. I Like It!

Actually, I have been for months. It seems wide pants/jeans is making waves all over the place now. I’ve had this dark wash low-rise wide-leg jeans for a while now. I haven’t worn it yet coz I’m a little stumped with how wide the legs are. The pictures are not really showing the wideness justice but it is wide.

I bought it at AAFES for $14.99. I do know this wide jeans would look good with my Mossimo Zebra pumps that I bought a few months ago. And with my other heels of course. Even the knee-high boots for Fall season. I also have ideas for tops and blouses. So yes Sasha, I’ve got my wide pants jeans ready. Now the question is, where and when will I wear it. I’ll let you know .
