I don’t know what has gotten into me lately but for some reason I can’t stop thinking about yellow. This coming from a bargain fashionista who vowed never to wear yellow in her lifetime. I used to have a picture of the ’80s in my head whenever I thought about yellow..LOL. Like I said, now I can’t stop thinking about it. I’m drawn to the damn color every time I go shopping. So of course when I saw this yellow square neck tunic with a cord belt the goes around the back I was attracted to it. It didn’t help that it was on sale for $7.99.

I’d probably wear it with jeans or shorts like the pink eyelet tunic that I also bought from CATO, with my CATO gladiator flats. I’m all CATO’d out. Hehe!

The yellow, mustard if we have to be technical about it, and plum combo is a little bold for a color combination but I saw something like it in a magazine last month, except it was a yellow dress and purple bolero. I really loved it and I wanted to put together an outfit like it, except it’s for jeans look. I love the yellow patent pumps from Payless too. Really pretty. I want it, except I want the faux suede royal blue pump as well that I tried on the other day. OI!

These boatneck nautical tunics are 2 tunics I just bought from OLD NAVY. It used to be $14.50 each, but is currently on sale for $7.25 each. There were other prints like polka-dots and plain but I’m not over my nautical obsession yet . For a Fall trend color I picked the grey color. Actually I originally picked a grey one and a navy blue one in Large sizes. But when I got home the large made me look like I’m swimming in it so I went back the next day to exchange it in medium size which is always my size in the first place. That time I picked the yellow color. Just because I don’t have that much color in my wardrobe, heh. I am looking forward to wearing ‘em this Fall with jeans or maybe skirts with knee-high boots.
