Katie Holmes’ TULLE pleated skirt look the other day inspired me to do my own top, skirt and flats look yesterday. Katie wore a cardigan over her top. My weather hasn’t been that breezy to wear any cardigan yet so I just went without it. I think I looked just as chic as Katie. Not as expensive but chic nonetheless.

I must admit that I am a heels girl. The only time I wear sneakers is when I work-out. Sure I wear the classic Chuck Taylor’s but only on rainy days. They are my casual go-to sneakers on weather like that. When exercising, I and along with everyone else would prefer comfortable pair of sneakers. Ever since I bought my black gladiator pumps, I have thought about buying a pair of red gladiator pumps as well. I even featured 5 Red Gladiator heels at one point to calm me down for a bit. I wanted one but I wasn’t sure if I really should buy one. I try not to be impulsive when it comes to shopping these days. Besides the $13 yellow bag that I found from CATO a week ago, I also found 2 turquoise necklaces that are on sale for $3.99 each.
Aren’t they gorgeous? The first one consists of oblong and small rounded beads. The second one is made of wood. As you can see, the large pendant is a cutout circle, along with turquoise & brown small wooden balls.
I have a lot of dresses and tops that would complement well with any of these necklaces. I’m excited .

I have been wanting a yellow tote since summer of last year. I just never got the courage to actually buy one. Yellow is a fun color but it’s also hard to “match” it with most of my daily outfits. I know I would be able to work it with a few but I still wasn’t willing to pay too much for something I’ll occasionally carry around.

You’ve seen my Forever21 Paisley Print Maxi Dress, now here’s the Floral Smocked Maxi Dress that I also bought from Forever21.
I did a mini-photoshoot with my husband as the photographer using the Nikon D40. I thought taking the pictures outside with the grass would look beautiful with the dress. I was right. I felt like a model .
