More Marshalls Fall 2008 shoes after the fold…

*There’s another set of shoes I need to add but it’s loading too damn slow. One that’s loaded, I’ll add it here right away.

To tell you the truth, I’m not really impressed. I do like the lacy booties but that’s just it. The flat knee-high boots with zippers aren’t that sexy. I prefer my boots with heels. What do you guys think so far? Visit a Marshalls store near you to check ‘em out.

Love the classic trench coat. I can see myself wearing each pieces except for one. The leggings from the 2nd look, first row. I can’t stress enough how I abhor leggings. I love the butterfly sleeves knit sweaters. They look comfortable, sophisticated AND sure to warm you up for as the temperature winds down to Fall season. At first you’d think they’re ponchos but they’re actually sweaters with a stylish wide-opening sleeves to give that very chic look. I wouldn’t totally dismiss ponchos coming out this year though. Someone could actually step further or backwards, however you think ponchos trend are categorized, and create some stylish ponchos this year. They’re not bad. They’ll keep you warm .

More TJMaxx Fall 2008 Looks after the fold…

First picture is a sweater dress. I’d pair it with knee high boots once it gets really cold but tights underneath and heels for early Fall would look really casually elegant, don’t you think? The 3rd picture, lovin’ the long cardigan, and TJMaxx’s version of the romantic blouses. Kinda like the Proenza Schouler blouse I posted yesterday. BUT, it’s tied and cascading in the middle like how I like it.

The Tweed Coat looks luxurious doesn’t it? 2nd picture is an office look with that bold color of green ruffled front blouse. For a night time you can actually take that pencil skirt off and wear trouser and look chic for a date without looking like you’re still working. Or Jeans for a playful mood.

As for Fall accessories, different shapes of bangle bracelets and jeweled gold tones adds that oomph in your Fall wardrobe. TJMaxx’s Fall handbags doesn’t disappoint either. Oversized totes in different textures, prints and solid styles.

Starting August, Totally Slimming jeans from Signature by Levi Strauss & Co can be purchased at Wal-Mart. Retailing for about $20, Levi’s Totally Slimming Jeans is a figure friendly jeans that won’t hurt your pockets. According to The Wall Street Journal :

The pants were designed to minimize women’s areas of concern — specifically the stomach, thighs and the behind. They include a high-stretch fabric that shapes the leg and “lifts” the bottom, as well as proprietary slimming technology, including a hidden front panel for extra tummy control around the waistband.

“It’s not exactly a girdle, but it does hold you in a little bit more,” says Nancy Hudak, a vice president of merchandising and design at Levi Strauss Signature. The jeans also feature a slim silhouette and bootcut leg that create the illusion of a longer, leaner line.

Remember when Nina Garcia was fired by ELLE like a month ago? The Fashion world was all aghast and some felt doomsday has come upon us. Well guess what, with Project Runway’s next season coming up on July, ELLE went down on their knees (I hope so )and hired Nina Garcia back as ELLE’s Editor-At-Large until September 1st. Here’s what Roberta Myers, Vice President/Editor-in-Chief had to say about it :

“Nina is admired by a large television audience on ‘Project Runway’ who tune in to see Nina and her fellow judges decide who’s in and who’s out. She’s made a real contribution to the program’s success as a top show,”

No kidding, you, hmmmm, nevermind… And here’s what Nina Garcia had to say :
