You know when you see a piece of clothing and instantly you get ideas of how to wear it or what to wear it with? That’s what happens to me (as it usually does) when I saw this Baby’s Breath Teal Tunic from Lulu’s. So I went to work and created 2 look for less that I hope you like as well.

The inspiration for this plaid and skinny jeans look came from my daughter. She just looked so cute in her plaid top with black leggings and flats outfit the other day. It almost made me want to wear leggings too, hehe. But if you’re like me who tries to avoid the leggings trend like a plague, skinny jeans or straight-cut jeans would do. I don’t mind leggings on children but I have issues on some grown Women wearing it, ALL THE TIME.

Are we actually going to believe that shredded/frayed/distressed jeans are the IT jeans for our Back-To-School fashionistas? Seriously, that’s where fashion is going? Coz if it is, then we might have to knock some sense into people starting today.

Finally, yesterday’s weather gave me an opportunity to rock out my Ashley Judd white jeans. I bought the white jeans when Goody’s closed in February and I’ve been waiting ever since to wear it.

I found this gray tunic from Walmart for $3 which I thought is very simple and chic at the same time. The tunic is actually long enough to wear as a dress for a petite woman. I could wear it as a dress too but I’m afraid bending will be out of the question, heh. Here’s how I wore it instead.

I first saw the polka-dot trapeze top a week ago. I planned on creating an outfit for it days after but I got so distracted and forgot about it.
