A preview of the Marshalls Holiday 2009 matching dresses (mother-daughter) was posted along with the TJMaxx preview were posted a week ago. Now here are more items from the Marshalls Holiday 2009 Collection. Really good stuff in my opinion.

Cable Knit Sweater – Wear with a skirt, especially a pencil cut, then finished with boots for a chic and cozy look. For a petite person the sweater could actually work as a dress.

Bomber Jacket & Leggings – To tell you the truth I am more excite about the ruffled skirt and the red laced-up booties than the leggings. The bomber jacket is definitely cute though. I love the cap sleeves from it. Bomber Jacket is a versatile cover-ip accessory for a top or a dress.

Bomber Jacket & Sequined Dress – See what I mean about a bomber jacket and dress combination? The sequin trends is also big this time of year. Shiny and Shimmering things make people happy.

Faux-Fur Vest – Another trend this year is the faux-fur vest or cropped jackets. It’s a piece of accessory that can stand on it’s own meaning you have to be minimal with jewelry when wearing a faux-fur vest.

Red Wool Coat – Wool Coats are a must in this cold weather. The red color sure adds more points to it.

Red Party Dress – A red dress is always Va-Va-Voom, for lack of a better work. If you prefer the LBD route that’s fine too. A red one is also an statement piece. However, I don’t think I’ll be wearing wellies with my red dress like the model. I’d go for the classic black pumps instead.

Striped Cowl Neck Sweater – Another option besides the cable knit sweater. It’s perfect for casual days paired with a skirt or even jeans.

Cardigan – This is also another must-have for Fall and Winter seasons. I love how it has evolved from being just a casual cardigan to a now more chic and feminine look by adding accents like belts, either worn with skirts, trouser or jeans.

3 Chic Cropped Jackets For Fall

It’s not that cold yet so in some ares so the winter coats and jackets can wait. Chic cropped jackets however must be worn now before the cold weather makes it’s full presence. Especially is they are as chic as these cropped jackets I just found with fabulous sale prices.

This white cropped trench jacket is from Newsport-News. It’s chic isn’t it? It’s double-breasted, with a gorgeous notched collar and 3/4 sleeve. Can you believe it’s only $25? Sizes available are 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10. Wear it with a trouser or jeans outfit. Pump it up for shoes to make it a chic workwear. Or a lunch date with friends too.

For a pop of color, how about this pink-raspberry flax jacket? It’s only $19 and in various sizes. Features include puffed sleeves, front buttons, angled welt pockets and black pleat. A nice jacket to wear with black trouser or a nice color to brighten up a jeans outfit.

Another chic cropped jacket is is this cropped portrait collar jacket which features 3/4 flared sleeves, snap closure and on-seam pockets. This would make jeans, trouser, skirts or dresses look stunning. Regular is $29, while Women’s is $49. This also comes in black by the way.

Under $45 Charter Club Jackets

There’s a sale on Charter Club Jackets. I found 3 that could fit any of Fall outfits and keep you warm at the same time. They could either be for casual wear or workwear. Each Charter Club jacket is on sale for under $45 at Macy’s.

Denim Jacket, $36. This used to be $60. A denim Jacket could be work with skirts, dresses, and trousers for this Fall season. The cute thing about this Charter Club denim jacket is the ruffling details along the placket all the way to the hem.

3/4 sleeves Animal Print Jacket, $41.40. I’m not that fond of animal print clothing but the tonal palette of this jacket appeals to me. I also like the front buttons and button-tab details on the sleeves. It’s a chic jacket to wear at work with jeans, trousers and a dresses too.

Long Sleeves Knit Wrap Jacket, $42. This would be a cozy jacket to wear while lounging around or doing some errands during the day. It also comes in gray.

A Belted Tweed Dress from Charlotte Russe looks so chic that’s it’s screaming for an overall look for less creation from me. I listened to the call and came up with this chic and feminine ensemble for the Fall.

Isn’t it lovely? I know the grey & black combo have a tendency to look dull which is why I accented the outfit with gold accessories. Even the bracelet is a little wider than other bangles to give it that pop of gold color. For a more mature look, black pumps would go nicely with the belted dress. For a youthful yet still feminine-grown up look, then you’ll want to incorporate booties with the dress.

Gwyneth Paltrow’s White Blazer Look 4 Less

Gwyneth Paltrow showed up at Paris Fashion Week to watch her friend Stella McCartney’s show in a very casual outfit. Casual yet chic and she certainly made people talk. Gwyneth paid an homage to the 80’s fashion by wearing acid wash skinny jeans and the damn shoulder pads on her Stella McCartney white blazer.

Well, if anyone could pull it off, it’s definitely Gwyneth Paltrow. I created a look for less version that’s more favorable to fashionistas like me who would rather bury the shoulder pads and not that fond of acid wash jeans.

Here are a couple of casual jackets for Fall to keep us warm, chic and looking fabulous all the time. Each of the jackets have qualities to go from office wear to casual days.

A casual knit jacket like this one from Forever21 would be nice to wear over top & jeans ensemble. This knit jacket has front single button closure, front pockets, attached waist tie and those two lovely wide collard. Black color is also available for this knit jacket as well but grey looks better in my opinion. $32.80

A fleece-constructed pea coat to withstand the cold days. This pea coat has 5 rows of double-breasted buttons,front pocket slits, buttoned arm cuffs, satin lining and a removable satin-tie belt. Wear this over dresses, top & skirt, or, top & jeans ensembles. $45.80

Add a pop of color in your Fall wardrobe with this Red Belted Jacket. This red French Terry jacket has 3-button front placket, removable belt and belt hoops so you could also use your other belts. This is perfect over a tank top paired with jeans or a top with trouser. $15.50

Look For Less : Paisley Dress & Booties

I saw this paisley print chiffon dress about a week ago and I liked it then. I was trying to avoid it but I just couldn’t. I’ve been thinking about it for days. I had a lovely ensemble already created in my head so I figured I might as well share with you ladies.

Isn’t it pretty? The paisley print dress could work for either Summer or Fall. Change the booties to gladiator pumps or flats. The boyfriend blazer from Charlotte Russe is an option to wear over the dress just in case it’s cold. I’m sure you can easily fix the butterfly sleeves to fit it inside the sleeves of the blazer.

TJ Maxx Fall 2009 Lookbook

Look no further for stylish, chic and affordable Fall Fashion. TJ Maxx offers a lot of different Fall items to help you create a fabulous Fall look on a daily basis.

The Bomber Jacket over a belted white poplin blouse and skinny jeans with peep-toe booties.

Another bomber jacket look worn over a belted cardigan and bright yellow skirt plus tights and booties.

A stunning boyfriend blazer over a sweater dress finished with peep-toe booties and leg warmer which I really don’t care for. But oh well

A different way to wear the boyfriend blazer look is over a printed top with leggings and booties. I don’t care about the leggings either but to each it’s own, heh.

A very cute look with a light bomber jacket, plaid top, corduroy pants and slouchy knee-high boots.

Ruffling details from a blouse popping out of a black dress with textured purple tights for an touch of color.

This ruffled ruffled cardigan over an animal print top and leggngs. The top portion is chic but again, leggings are not my thang.

A combination of long colorful printed skirt with slouchy boots is fun and trendy.
