Gwyneth Paltrow showed up at Paris Fashion Week to watch her friend Stella McCartney’s show in a very casual outfit. Casual yet chic and she certainly made people talk. Gwyneth paid an homage to the 80’s fashion by wearing acid wash skinny jeans and the damn shoulder pads on her Stella McCartney white blazer.
Well, if anyone could pull it off, it’s definitely Gwyneth Paltrow. I created a look for less version that’s more favorable to fashionistas like me who would rather bury the shoulder pads and not that fond of acid wash jeans.

I first saw the polka-dot trapeze top a week ago. I planned on creating an outfit for it days after but I got so distracted and forgot about it. If you haven’t heard it by now, Goody’s is going out of business. The website is not even available anymore. It’s really sad because I love that store. I’ve found great brand name stuff (polka-dot dress, Breakin’Loose white dress, etc)  there in very affordable prices. If you remember, Ashley Judd’s collection made it’s home at Goody’s in 2007. Here’s an Under $100 casual outfit for the Fall/Winter days where the snow doesn’t appear in the vicinity of your driveway. Or even farther . Places like LA, SD, and where I live, NC for example. I see celebs wearing tank tops and flip flops in Cali at this time of year. In my side, it’s cold but not cold enough to warrant a thick coat. So an outfit like this would make sense more.

I wore my ruffled tiered top this past Thanksgiving. We had our own intimate dinner at our house where I cooked everything by the way.
