Fall Look : Black Top, Skirt & Flats

Katie Holmes’ TULLE pleated skirt look the other day inspired me to do my own top, skirt and flats look yesterday. Katie wore a cardigan over her top. My weather hasn’t been that breezy to wear any cardigan yet so I just went without it. I think I looked just as chic as Katie. Not as expensive but chic nonetheless.

Katie Holmes was recently seen walking around Newbury Street in Boston with Tom Cruise, Suri, Connor and a bunch of bodyguards. Katie was wearing a chic Fall pleated skirt from TULLE.

The lovely TULLE pleated skirt that Katie Holmes was wearing used to be $73 but is now on sale for $29.90. AWESOME deal for a nice Fall skirt to wear out and about like Katie has done while spending time with her family.

Katie wore the marigold and dolphin color combo with I think is a navy button shirt, brown cardigan, and black flats. I like the casual combination. I would also wear knee-high boots with this skirt. I love skirts and boots combo myself. I don’t know if I would also wear a cap like Katie did but she sure looked cute in hers .

Classic Button-Down Shirt : Skirt & Boots

For the second look in our classic white button-down shirt series, here is a combination of the shirt, skirt and knee-high boots. The classic shirt is meant to be worn un-tucked. The white shirt should flow over the skirt then cinched on the waist by a wide belt.

I added a hot pink splotchy wooden bangle to a pop of color. The overall look is $99.84. The boots could be your go-to shoes for the rest of the Fall and Winter season as well. It works with skirts, dresses, and pants. You can wear black tights underneath if you want but for now, we’ll go bare. The knee-high boots is actually tall enough, just below the knee to give ample cover-up for the legs.

I feel like wearing something white with a touch of color for the 4th of July. I’m inspired by the embroidered boho top from Forever21 so I created a look for less outfit for it. It’s cute, refreshing and very summery.

I saw a white embroidered top at Forever21 that immediately made me think of a cute Summer Look For Less Outfit. A denim skirt kept flashing before my eyes as a perfect bottom for the top and I wasn’t about to disagree with my visions .

Under $100 Look : 2-Toned Skirt, Top & Booties With Silver Accents

I like two-toned styles, do you? Most especially the black and white tones. It’s chic and elegant. May it be a dress or a skirt outfit. I saw this two-tones floral skirt from Forever21 so I figured I’d create an Under $100 Look with it. This is exactly how I would wear this silk two-toned floral print skirt.

Lo Bosworth : White Cardigan Look For Less

I’m copying Lo Bosworth’s White Cardigan Look For Less because I think she was very brave for wearing that black mini-skirt in this cold weather. We know that it doesn’t get cold that much in California at this time of year, compare to New York, but cold enough that Lo Bosworth wore a long white cardigan.

I also give her props for showing off her nice legs even though it’s the Fall/winter season. That my friends is called, bravery .
