Under $20 Maternity Fall Tops

Since I’ve featured 4 Under $20 Maternity Fall/Holiday Dresses, I figured I might as well show you a few under $20 maternity tops too. Very lovely tops that you could wear with either maternity jeans, trousers or even skirts.

Chiffon Maternity Ruffle Flutter Sleeves Top, $14.99. The ruffling detail on the neck that goes crisscross on the bust is beautiful, isn’t it? Pair with jeans or trouser.

Charmeuse Short Sleeves Ruffle Front Smocked Top, $14.99. A very cute and trendy charmeuse top with ruffle trim on the neckline and smocking on the hem. It also comes in black with the fuchsia color is better. Well the black is good too for a night out with the husband or friends I suppose. The fuchsia is more for daytime.

It’s a fact that maternity clothes are expensive. I was lucky to find great deals on maternity clothes from Wal-Mart, Target, and Motherhood during my pregnancy with my 2 children. If you live a “brand name” lifestyle I’m guessing you’d be more inclined to buy high-end maternity clothes. With today’s economy you could continue this lifestyle buy shopping at InStyleBelly. Maternity Fall Look : Crochet Dress & Boots

Being pregnant doesn’t meat you’re automatically going to wear a mumu and sneakers when the temperature drops. Heck no. Maternity fashion has evolved so much that there is no excuse in looking like well, crap, just because you have a bun in the oven. Of course there will be days when you wouldn’t give a hoot of what you’re wearing. That’s cool. Trust me, I’ve had 2, so I know . But on the days when you want to dress up for something, don’t be afraid to pun on a nice maternity dress, a good pair of boots and show everyone (especially the woman with a 6 pack in 4 inches stilettos boots) that YES, you’re belly is huge, but you’re still way HOTTER and more beautiful than she is . NO offense to all the skinny people out there of course, heh.

Maternity Swimwear : 2-Piece Halter Tankinis

3 years ago, around this time around, I was pregnant with my second child. There’s nothing worse than 100° heat while carrying a baby inside of you. It was hot as hell. Summer means swimming season too which worked out perfectly for me as it turned out coz I swam a lot for my pregnancy exercise. I didn’t do much walking like I did with my 1st child. Swimming, minimally of course (no diving) is a great way to exercise while pregnant, plus it’ll cool you off. Of course, you also need a good maternity swimwear. Swimwear alone is expensive, maternity clothes are even more expensive. Combine the two and it kinda put a damper on the whole Summer. That’s exactly how I felt at that time. Thankfully, my sister-in-law who’s been pregnant 4 times wouldn’t have it. She dragged me to the Outlets and long story short, that’s my belly (and boobs, hehe) in a Motherhood gingham Maternity tankini .

If you’re not willing to spend the Motherhood price, I found a few affordable maternity swimwear to pick from at WalMart.

Don’t let the price discourage you from getting that swim this Summer. It’ll be all worth it trust me. I’d recommend a swim instead of walking on a 98° to 100° weather anytime. I don’t know if it’s any consolation to anyone but both of my pregnancy labors were too easy. On my first 1, I walked a lot in the afternoon. It was Winter in Virginia, which didn’t really give us snow. My labor was only 4 hours. My second one, albeit I had to be induced, once it started, it went like a breeze. My Doctor praised me for being a pro even though I’ve only pushed babies twice in my life, LOL. I don’t know if it’s because I really am a pro at labor or because I exercised during both of my pregnancies. Don’t take my word on that though. Consult your Doctor first .

By the following year, I was wearing a different tankini. Check it out from Burning The Scale .
