Plastic Island Sweater Dress

Not that I would wear a sweater dress at this moment since it’s summer after all. There’s a scary factor coming from the oversized butterfly print. What do you think?

If you like it, perhaps it would look great during the Fall season. I suggest you wear tights underneath then pair it with boots or wear skinny jeans instead for a chic look. $70 from Dillard’s in sizes S, M, and L.

Lampshade Dress : Yay or Nay?

This lampshade dress is from Forever21 ($39). It has a smocked upper and hem adorning the bubble skirt and an embroidery ruffled trim. At first I thought it might make my hips more huge than it already is. But then again, I like bubble dresses so a lampshade style dress shouldn’t be any different. For some reason I like the black color more than the nude one. I think the black is able to minimize the wide structure of the hips section.

What do you think? Is the lampshade dress, a yay or nay in your closet?

Petal Tiered Top

That’s 9 tiers of sheen petals and a banded hem. It’s kinda cute without the risk of looking like feathers. Well, in the picture anyway. I wonder how it would look like on a person, close up. What do you think? Is this Petal tiered top a yay or nay in your book?

Unlisted by Kenneth Cole "strawberry swirl" tall boots, $43.99 in sizes 6-10. This boots has 3.5 stiletto heels which as we all know is sexy but probably not a snow-friendly boots. So don’t wear this boots if you have 4 inches of snow outside. There’s a difference between being stylish and just plain stupid. If you live in California, the part of Cali that doesn’t have snow of course, perhaps Florida, Texas, or North Carolina where I live, this is a perfect pair of boots to wear. This sale is great so don’t pass it up, but make sure you heed my suggestion. OR, wear it next year when the Early Fall rolls. It’s cold but there’s no snow yet during those times.

I particularly love this because it’s pointy but not completely. I prefer my boots either squared or rounded. This one is in between rounded and pointy so I like it . I like to be stylish and comfortable this time of year.

You know, I actually like this Lyndia Satin Print Halter Dress except for one thing. I don’t like the handkerchief hem style. It’s too beauty pageantry, heh. I love the print and the sale price of $27. I’m just not really digging the hem. Not my style. But if you like it, and you’re size 2, 4 or 6, go for it. It used to be $108 so that $27 sale price is what we call a STEAL in bargain shopping .

I was planning on looking for Rihanna’s pink and black polka-dot bandana for less but I’m having second thoughts. Although I like her Marilyn Monroe shirt(accdg. to BuzzFoto) under a leather jacket I’m not completely sold with her take on ’80’s fashion. I like the spike bangle but not so much on the CHANEL gold chained shoulder bag(accdg. to BuzzFoto). So, I turn to you guys. Rihanna in ’80’s fashion, Yay or Nay?

First of all, what does “dressing your age” means anyway? Trust me, I’d be the first in line to tell people to let me dress the way I want, wherever I want. BUT, c’mon, let’s face it. There comes a point in our lives when we must let certain styles of clothing go or do something to make it still work for us without looking like we’re trying too hard. That’s exactly how the BuzzFoto people feel about this belted tunic/mini-dress look from Tara Reid. And I completely agree.

Did you know Tara Reid is 32 yrs old? I was just watching American Pie this past weekend. It feels like yesterday when Tara made a splash. Anyhoo, click more to find out how I’d wear this look if I was Tara Reid to fit my age.

I’m 31, and married with 2 kids. So pardon my joviality on the fact that Tara is a year older than I am. LOL. For a woman in her 30’s, this belted tunic/mini-dress would look chic and sophisticated with jeans and pumps OR black wide-leg trouser with stilettos or pumps. This haggard look from Tara would maybe work on Lindsay Lohan or Hayden Panettiere. Lindsay would probably wear one of her awful black leggings underneath it though. For a 30 something woman, Tara Reid needs to do an inventory of her closet. Does she want to keep looking like a teen or does she want to look sophisticated, hence earning respect from her peers and fans alike?

It is possible to look chic, younger and your age at the same time. And in affordable prices no less . My catholic school girl look for example and my other fun yet age appropriate looks. But this is just my opinion of course. Feel free to agree or disagree in the comment box. And for fun, if you’re Tara Reid, how would you wear this belted tunic?

On my way home, I kept reminding myself to write about this while consciously telling myself to google that one episode where Oprah talked about the right underwear for white pants. I wanted to make sure I have my tip matches someone else’s. And who else to turn to but Oprah, right? . The right underwear for white pants : THONG. Nude/flesh colored thongs to be specific. White undies under white pants is a no-no. Even if it’s thong. As clearly shown in the picture. If you don’t like wearing thongs, then go for full-shaped undies or better yet spanx. Just make sure it’s nude or flesh colored.

White pants are good for Summer. It gives that fresh and crisp look. But please wear the right underwear.

I buy mine at Wal-Mart for $4(1-pair) pack. There’s also disposable packs for less than $5. The gel liners have varieties to fit the style of shoes you wear. There’s a liner for pumps, sandals, and even for the straps. Not only do the gel cushion liners help your comfort level in wearing those 3 inches(or more) heels, it also lessens the callouses at the bottom of your feet. Well it does to me.
