Style It Less

Tribal Print Sweater Tunic, Yay Or Nay?

I’m currently working on a celebrity look for less entry but I had to stop and ask what you guys think of this Tribal Print Sweater Tunic? As soon as I saw it I felt suffocated and I felt like crying again.

This tribal sweater tunic is supposedly figure-flattering. Don’t get me wrong because I actually like the tribal print but I would prefer it on a maxi dress or a skirt. the turtleneck and long sleeves are just too much for me. This bold graphic works perfectly on something flowy, like I said, a long dress or a knee-length full skirt. On a sweater tunic on the other hand? It’s just too much.

What do you think?

  1. This is all wrong. The body hugging shape combined with the turtleneck and the long sleeves is just one big disaster. This print would look good on a baggy tank top but not much else.

Agreed. The shape is terrible. I personally hate turtle necks (I think it’s because I *have* no neck) and this is just makes me realize why. It would definitely work better as maxi dress, or even as a tunic but one a little less fitted.

  3. Dexie says:

    Fashion Archives, agreed.

Alicia, i don’t like turtlenecks either. Combined with the shape and print, it’s a complete disaster.
