After blogging about these silly shoes over at Burning the Scale, I still want them. Does that make me a bad person? They are not, and I repeat, NOT a plus-friendly shoe. They only go up to size 10, which I think I can wear, although we’ll have to see, to be honest. They do not appear to be very nice for the heavy-in-the-calves girl, which I am. But they come in snake! Or black! And they actually might tone my legs just by walking. I’m sold!

Here’s my gripe: I am in love with a certain brand of exercise gear– Doce Vida. It’s a Brazilian brand with lots of bright colors mixed into each of the design details. I adore the cool squiggles and graphic lines, but why oh why aren’t they available in XXL and 3X? I have a feeling that a lot of active, full-figured women would be very happy.
I’m tempted to try out the XL-sized Copacabana capris and see how they work. Spandex is forgiving. . . right?
