These star inspiring boots include a 4 ½ inch heel and a 1 inch platform with a 9 ½ inch shaft which makes them great to go with some awe inspiring leggings. I may match my leggings with the stars on the boots, which include orange, purple blue and green stars to make a real statement. The boots are not very pointy, which means they will probably be pretty comfortable (well … they should be they are luxurious and expensive!). Forever 21 Shoes Worth Picking Up

There’s nothing quite like waking up to two inches of snow… and the realization that you having nothing to keep your feet warm and dry!  Hey, at least it’s a good excuse to go shoe shopping

And while the classic “Moon Boot” may be warm and cozy, they aren’t quite the style statement I’m trying to make:

Stylish Winter Boots for Warm Toes

I’ve made my peace with the ankle boot trend..and if I’m going to buy a pair of ankle boots they might as well be Gucci boots, right? Now, all I have to do is save up that extra money for them!

Gucci Pixies Zipper Boots

One of the big trends are ankle booties. Designers everywhere have brought back this super chic style that just about anyone can rock on the runway and real life. If you want to get into this trend but don’t want to spend too much money, I found a few from Cutesy Girl that are not only really cute but inexpensive too! Open toe ankle boots are very much on the trendy side of the spectrum. Ideally you’d wear these with tights but I’ve seen them worn without. Aren’t boots made to keep you warm? Not to cool you off a la sandals or even some heels? The side zip fastening with open back with buckle fastening straps just confuse me, but to be honest I take fashion for what it is. I’m not like Malvin from Project Runway who needs to explore fashion and who needs to “understand fashion.” To be fair, his aesthetic did get him eliminated. If it’s pretty and feels good I’ll wear it. But, this does not look good. It just looks weird.

I could get it if you wear some awesome leggings and want to show off the leggings, but other then that I think I’ll pass. If you’re more of a Malvin, though, then you can get these at Net-A-Porter for $995.

Look at that fabulous pattern. It’s a black demi-sheer lace-effect with the signature red soles and 4inch heels. With the sheer material of the boot you’ll have to get some awesome boot socks (yet another reason to buy boots…more fun socks!).

These are one of a kind boots, for sure. They aren’t the run of the mill luxury fashion boots that will cost $300-500. These are a major splurge for even those of you that live and die by the designer label at $1,155 from Net-A-Porter. but, if you have to have them, then… they’re worth it!

Christian Louboutin Paola 100 Ankle Boots

Fringes have been around for a couple of seasons now, but I love Prada’s unique take on them:

Their black Nappa leather ankle boot is accented with a short line of studded fringe.  I have to admit – I’m not a big fan of fringed shoes that look like you’ve suddenly grown fur, but this short fringe adds a fun detail to these restrained ankle boots.

Feathers aren’t as common as fringes, but it’s shown up in a few accessory collections now.

Pedro Garcia has accented his lovely frayed satin d’Orsay with a bow and hat pin on the toe, as well as partridge feathers on the heel.  It’s definitely lady-like and elegant.
