Along with the ultra chic boyfriend blazer trend that’s prevalent for this Fall and Winter, another key wardrobe piece to have is a military inspired blazer. I came across a really cute one at Anthropologie and I thought it would be fun to create an outfit around it.
Forever 21 Attached Striped Scarf Top ($17.80) – This is a cute top that kills two birds with one stone. The oatmeal colour and black go really well together.

I fell in love with the nostalgic-style photos on the Anthropologie website that featured outfits that incorporated their newest cold weather items like colorful soft sweaters, scarves, hats, and gloves. This image was my absolute favorite! I think this scarf is absolutely fabulous…
The Pockets-A-Plenty Scarf is a 74″ long ribbed taupe scarf that is adorned with tons of knobby pockets and knots. This is such a whimsical piece that there is even a tiny little red knit bird that hangs from a pocket and just welcomes you to find a perch for him amongst your pocket baubles. Adorable!

You can love them or hate them, but stirrups are officially back. About three years ago I really really wanted to wear stirrup tights and I couldn’t find them anywhere. I had to either pull my footless tights down around my heels or go to a dance store and buy the real kind that are functional for dancing. I didn’t need anything functional, I just liked the way that they looked! I am so excited to see that the trend has caught on and now finally stirrup tights are available everywhere!
Here are some of my favorites…

There is nothing more versatile than a black handbag. No matter what the occasion or dress code, a black bag will always look fresh, appropriate and stylish.
I was on the Anthroplogie website today and noticed this lovely bag by Jonathan Liberty.
