Forever 21 Attached Striped Scarf Top ($17.80) – This is a cute top that kills two birds with one stone. The oatmeal colour and black go really well together.

American Eagle Artist Jeans ($39.50) – With this look I chose to go with these dark wash jeans because although jeans are casual the dark shade dresses it up a bit.

SixTwentySeven Reville Jacket ($128) – This fabulous military inspired blazer is a perfect example of the trend. I love the brass buttons on the front as well as the charcoal grey and distressed look.

Forever 21 Basket Ankle Boot ($25.80) – Ankle boots are another great trend to pair with this outfit and these are sexy and not too wild.

La Mer Chain Wrap Watch ($110) – This cool black leather and chains wrap watch gives the look an edgy vibe.

Rebecca Minkoff Morning After Bag ($595) – Violet is another fall trend and this beautiful shade of violet is a wonderful pop of colour

You can pair colourful accessories, like red or maybe a pretty green, with this look as the colour palette is monochromatic. Another accessory you can add to this outfit is a pair of earrings. I wouldn’t wear a necklace (unless it’s very simple) with this look as the scarf is attached and it would compete with it. Another handbag colour you can use is a  winter white handbag or even a chic and colourful clutch.

Outfit Idea : Military Casual Chic

This beautiful teal green silk Plenty by Tracy Reese Snow Queen Dress ($288) is a beautiful colour to wear for the holiday party season. Forget about red or black, wear teal green! It’s definitely a stand out shade that will look beautiful on just about any skin tone.  The super luxe black lace edged hem is super feminine and sexy at the same time.  Oh and I love the tulle underneath, so flirty and fun!

Be a Glamorous Snow Queen!

One of my wardrobe staples are cardigans. I can’t get enough of them and buy a few every year to add to my collection. Whether they’re simple and solid, cropped or long, knit or woven, wrapped or buttoned – nothing is cozier during the colder months than throwing on a great looking cardigan.

The Anthropologie Prairie Rose Cardigan ($88) is a cardigan you’ll be able to wear for years to come. What makes this one special is the pretty yarn embroidery detail at the front and the lady-like 3/4 sleeves.  You’ll be able to wear this cardigan in the Spring worn over a pretty skirt and cami. My personal favourites have to be the first and second necklaces. I love the combination of lavender with the blue on the Jeweled Stream necklace. And then the combination of pale yellow and yellow-green on the Scattered Seeds necklace is just brilliant.

Feminine & Flirty Anthropologie Necklaces

The Pockets-A-Plenty Scarf is a 74″ long ribbed taupe scarf that is adorned with tons of knobby pockets and knots.  This is such a whimsical piece that there is even a tiny little red knit bird that hangs from a pocket and just welcomes you to find a perch for him amongst your pocket baubles.  Adorable!

This photo also features the Blustery Bloom Headwrap in Pink.  I love the way it is styled with the short bangs and bob.  Soft thick knit headbands are going to be everywhere this Fall as a stylish substitute for a standard knit hat.  The style has a hippie chic vibe, but can also be paired with modern outfits.

American Apparel Shiny Stirrup Tight in Wine $14

I have a lot of these because American Apparel was one of the first stores to have a wide selection of colors.  They are super cheap so you can stock up on as many pairs as you want!  They are very shiny, which gives them an authentic 80’s look.  Don’t get a color that is too light because the combination of shiny and light will add weight to your legs.

Hue Opaque Stirrup Tights $12

If you are a fan of the Hue brand for your stockings, then you can pick up a pair of these at most major department stores.  These are opaque, which looks really great and also makes them a little warmer.

Only Hearts I Heart Stirrup Tights $55

I love these!!  This pair of Only Hearts tights combines two of my favorites tights into one: the dotted mesh and the stirrup.  So cute.  Can you see why I love them yet?

Paint Palette Stirrups in Blue $28

I have a pair exactly like this that I got at Express last year and they are so fun to pair with a simple black dress when you want to add a little pop of color.  Wear them with a mini and patent pumps and you are ready to enjoy a night out even if it’s the middle of winter!

Stirrup Tights Are Back

I was on the Anthroplogie website today and noticed this lovely bag by Jonathan Liberty.

The Sense of Touch Tote ($228) is a beautiful soft leather bag with cool knotted straps.  The bag has pretty quilted detail on the front and measures a nice and roomy 13″H, 16″W, 3.5″D. The interior is cotton lined and features a magnetic snap closure and three panel pockets.

This would be a wonderful bag to take you from the office to dinner with friends. It’s stylish and big enough to hold everything but not too big that it will get in the way. The knotted straps are a fun detail. Imagine the knot would be something to hold on to when maneuvering your way through a crowded street or mall.   This is definitely a wonderful bag to invest in.

Jonathan Liberty Sense of Touch Tote

The floppy crocheted straw hats are my favorite this summer, so I’ve picked a few of my favorites.  This style will definitely be popular next summer as well so take advantage of the sale and stock up!

Fruit-Filled Hat $24.95 (reg. $38)

This is definitely one of my favorites of all of the straw sun hats that I have found this summer.  The description says the colors are from “plums, grapes, and pink grapefruits”…how delicious and beautiful at the same time!

Cross-Stitched Sunhat $19.95 (reg. $38)

This is a great design if you are interested in the crushable style.  These are great for throwing in your bag when you are spending the day outdoors.

Farm Bounty Hat $69.95 (reg. $108)

This is a soft woven straw hat with the cutest little woven primroses adorning the side.  This is a more expensive design, so it’s exciting to see that the price is more affordable with the sale!

Covetous Shoulder Bag ($298) – You really can’t go wrong with this gorgeous bag. It has all the makings of an every day, go anywhere, do anything and look stylish bag. It’s roomy, the chocolate brown shade is wonderful and it’s leather.

Chocolate Spritz Bag ($178) – This bag is definitely an eye catcher. The dark chocolate colour is rich and the sweet floral embellishments are interesting without looking gaudy. The knot handles are another fantastic detail.

Wine & Roses Bag ($238) – The saturated violet shade of this shoulder bag and cross body bag will step up any outfit. The bold hue is a perfect complement to any of your neutral or monochromatic ensembles.

Quilted Burbank Bag ($388) – If you want a little more detail in your handbag, the tassles, contrast braiding and quilting in this shoulder bag might be right up your alley. The plum coloured bag and brown braided detail is a fantastic fall colour combination.

This Anthropolgie Chipper Tote in this amazing Coral shade is absolutely fantastic. It would work so well during the summer and on through fall. This smooth leather tote is a go anywhere and every where bag. Sized at 13″H, 16″W, 5″D its not too big or too small.

Inside its lined in cotton and there are three pockets to fit your valuables. It closes with a magnetic closure the cool pleating detail is all the embellishment this cute bag needs.
