Good skin care is a passion of mine. I’m always lecturing anyone who will listen about washing their makeup off before bed, using sunscreen, moisturizer, or a good mask treatment.
Kenzo sent me a sample of their new Kenzoki: Marshmallow Mask to try for review. Here are a few points about me that you might not be aware of 1) I love Kenzo and 2) I will try anything with the word “Marshmallow” in the name.
Kenzoki: Marshmallow Maskis part of Kenzo’s Sensual Rice line (I tried the Barefeet Fantasy Food Creamfrom the same line). The mask is designed for use by …read more

I love finding out about skin care lines that hail from foreign countries and cultures because they incorporate ideas and technologies that are probably commonplace in their country of origin, but in American they could be completely new. French beauty line Cattier comes all the way from Paris, but is now available to U.S. customers exclusively from online natural and organic beauty store, Beautorium.
Cattier was established in 1968 as a line that valued alternative medicine and the use of clay-based products for medical and cosmetic use. The Cattier Laboratory grew and developed over the years, but maintained priorities for the …read more

CoffeeBerry has been the hottest ingredient on the skin care market for the last few years, so I decided to find out a little more about it from Revaléskin, the company who was the first to discover the powerful properties of this unique ingredient.
My first question was, what is a CoffeeBerry and how is it related to coffee? CoffeeBerry extract is derived from the fruit of the coffee cherry that is harvested in sub-ripe growth stage from a coffee species called coffee arabica that is grown in Ethiopia. The coffee bean that is used for the coffee that we addictively …read more

While many women pay attention to the delicate skin around their eyes and mouth, they oftentimes neglect another area that really shows the signs of aging — the hands. Moisturizers, serums, face lifts and Botox might keep your face from cracking over time, but you have to make sure to keep your hands in tiptop shape too.
One of my favorite hand creams is Clinique Stop Signs Hand Repair. Using botanical extracts, this collagen-boosting product helps fade age spots, relieve dryness and diminish wrinkles while reducing future damage.
This antioxidant-rich formula leaves your hands feeling silky soft and protects them free radicals.

A friend and I passed by the Philosophy counter this past weekend and the sales associate told us about the newest product in the line, Divine Illumination. She raved about its wonderful skin brightening and moisturizing properties.
Philosophy Divine Illumination is their skin illuminating anti-aging moisturizer. It’s formulated to fade dark spots, hydrate, smooth and even out your skin tone. There are also firming and anti-wrinkle benefits. This would be a great product to try if you have age spots and feel your skin needs a little more ‘help’ than what you’re current moisturizer is doing. I didn’t pick it up …read more
