Stylish Travel Accessories from Halsea

Yes, people, that’s not one but two kinds of skin on this bag and one of them is snakeskin which makes me feel all woozy and blush. Um, and check the chains on the handle. Not just totally badass looking, but also practically placed, so as not to dig into your shoulder. I love how dark and burnished the studs on this bag are, not all shiny and pop punk. Cobra Killer Hobo by km rii

You might want to check out these bold and funky totes and purses from Tokyo Made!

They’re made in Tokyo, by designers MACBAG and Colorcult – with an interesting twist.  The body of the purses are made from handmade African fabric.  You can’t get much more multi-cultural than that…

This is the “Lattice Tote” by Colorcult.  It’s made using handmade Nigerian wax printed fabric (the design is made by layering different colors of dye over top of the fabric – the dye can’t penetrate the wax, which allows for intricate designs to be created).  It’s finished with riveted leather handles.

The “Pink Ornate Tote” is also by Colorcult.  The body of the bag is a Nigerian wax print cloth with quilted pink leather handles.

This cute little purse is the “Pink Orchid Party Bag” by MACBAG.  The body of the bag is an African print, topped with leather.  There is also a detachable leather shoulder strap.

You are not looking at 20 bags. Actually, that’s 1 designer bag with different designed mats that are called “shells”. A Miche Bag attaches and detaches to make 1 bag look like you own many bags. The shells are shaped in rectangle and with the magnetic feature, you can attach a shell into a Miche bag so you have 1 bag for every outfit or occasion.

It is such a simple concept but I seem to be having a hard time explaining it here. It’s better if you visit the Miche Bag website so you’ll understand exactly what I’m talking about. I think Miche Bag is a cool concept and if I didn’t just spend money treating myself with a new hair cut, color treatment, and DVD purchases from Amazon.com today I would be all over it. So why would I rather invest in accessories rather than the stock market these days?

2. “Vintage mutual funds”… not so much.
3. A good purse can be used for years, loved, adored, petted and then restored as needed.
4. Can you restore your money market funds?
5. Check out the price of gold.

7. A good quality leather shoe can be repaired, re-soled and if you’re really careful, handed down to the next generation.
8. Do you really want to inherit someone’s mortgage instead…
9. Same thing with jewelry – gold & silver can be cleaned, pearls can be restrung and diamonds can be re-mounted to fit today’s trends.
10. How much pleasure can you get from a new purse?  Think about how much you dread getting your monthly investment statement.
