5 Fabulous Flats for Fall

On rainy days like today, wearing flats are a god-send. I’m quite happy about ballet flats remaining on the fashion forefront. It’s not healthy to wear heels all the time, no matter how cute they are! You have to give your legs and feet a rest once in a while.
I came across some really cute ballet flats at Endless and they’re perfect to wear now and through Spring and Summer.

Outfit Idea : Sweet as a Rose

Sometimes one just wants to look pretty and lady like. A little bit of Audrey Hepburn’s prim and proper mixed with a little bit of Jackie O’s lady like sophistication. I put together a fun, feminine outfit that you can wear to the office or out and about.
Start off with this classic charcoal grey Forever 21 Prim Wool Dress ($36) and Forever 21 Tweed Classic Trench ($37.80) and opaque black Forever 21 Basic Tights ($4.50).
The theme and accessories for this outfit are based on these gorgeous Taryn Rose Babe Ballet Flats ($445).  I just love the sweet little rose and …read more

Lindsay Phillips Ballet Flats

When I was a kid, Kaepas sneakers were the mood rings of footwear — the hottest in cheerleader wannabe fashion. Their business model was simple and effective. You inserted little colored triangles that snapped onto the sides of those fantastically bulky and bright white sneakers and — voila — you were all about red that day or, hell, if it was Christmas, red and green.
Thankfully, designers have evolved since the 80s, but Lindsay Phillips has found a way to marry our universal craving for individual expression with bonafide beautiful shoes.
Her latest collection of Napa leather ballet flats comes in three …read more

A Good Flat Is Always Good For Work…

I will admit it. I count down the days until the new episodes of The Hills. I love the premeditate drama, the dyed hair, and well, the fashion. People Revolution, Teen Vogue, and now Smashbox has been added to the mix. Lo Bosworth just recently started her job at Smashbox (see this week’s episode entitled Keep Your Enemies Closer).
This week’s drama was capped off with some “miscommunication”  between Stephanie Pratt and Laura Conrad at People’s Revolution. While taking in a quick lunch, Stephanie whined about her “stressful” work situation, to Lauren.
While not getting too into gossip, Stephanie moaned and groaned …read more

NY Times has an article this week about the comeback of ballet flats (and flat shoes in general) You can read the article here. Check out the sparkly hoof paint on the carriage horse too
