Don’t worry, my fans of flats – I’ve got lots of stylish, feminine flat shoes from the resort collections as well!

After all, just because you don’t want to wear a platform with a five inch heel doesn’t mean that you don’t want to wear fantastic shoes…

Luckily, the designers have realized that too and have come up some some great options for their resort collections. With everything from ballet flats, strappy sandals or even kitten heels, there’s something for everyone.

Have fun with a little sparkle from Valentino. These flats are covered with either red or black sequins with a matching floral rosette on the toe.

Want something a little simpler? These charming ballet flats from Prada feature a ruched and knotted flower accent. They’re also available in cream or orange leather.

Really go for the glamor with these metallic silver sandals from Manolo Blahnik – complete with rhinestone and crystal accents!

I love me a cute pair of fabulous ballet flats! I feel all fashionable women should on a few dozen pairs in every colour of the rainbow. Ballet flats can be worn just about anywhere, with anything and you don’t have to worry about where you’re walking or climbing up and down stairs.

These ballet flats from Bloomingdales are quite adorable and nicely priced too. Get them for yourself or as a birthday, anniversary or holiday gift for someone you love.

Guess Eisner Sequin Ballet Flat ($80) I love this fuschia shade and the sequins? So fun!

On rainy days like today, wearing flats are a god-send. I’m quite happy about ballet flats remaining on the fashion forefront. It’s not healthy to wear heels all the time, no matter how cute they are! You have to give your legs and feet a rest once in a while.

Sometimes one just wants to look pretty and lady like. A little bit of Audrey Hepburn’s prim and proper mixed with a little bit of Jackie O’s lady like sophistication. I put together a fun, feminine outfit that you can wear to the office or out and about.

A Good Flat Is Always Good For Work…

I will admit it. I count down the days until the new episodes of The Hills. I love the premeditate drama, the dyed hair, and well, the fashion. People Revolution, Teen Vogue, and now Smashbox has been added to the mix. Lo Bosworth just recently started her job at Smashbox (see this week’s episode entitled Keep Your Enemies Closer).

This week’s drama was capped off with some “miscommunication” between Stephanie Pratt and Laura Conrad at People’s Revolution. While taking in a quick lunch, Stephanie whined about her “stressful” work situation, to Lauren.

While not getting too into gossip, Stephanie moaned and groaned about “professionalism” and wearing heels at People’s Revolution. Lauren chimed in and said, “Well, I think a good ballet flat is also professional.”

I could not agree more. Ballet flats adorn my closet. Of course, heels are fun, but who can honestly stand to wear them every single day? Obviously Stephanie!

I must admit, I love flats for running around doing errands – or paired with a great pair of jeans & a camisole top for a casual night out. I’m even wearing ballet flats to get married in!
