Homemade Lavender Bath Salts

If you want to make your own bath salts, it’s relatively easy. Homemade beauty products are inexpensive and they allow you to get the right amount of fragrance that you like. To create homemade lavender bath salts, you just need a few items. You can whip up a batch of bath salts in no time.
Ingredients:
1 cup epsom salt
1/2 cup sea salt
2 Tablespoons baking soda
1 teaspoon glycerin
Food coloring (red and blue to make purple)
Lavender (or any fragrance you like) essential oil

I love baths and I regularly make my own bath salts. A reader asked for additional essential oil combinations. Essential oils can be pricey, so I usually stick to either Lavender because it relaxes me or Eucalyptus because my family finds it helpful during cold and flu season. How To Make Your Own Bath Salts

Today, I have a simple tutorial for making your own bath salts. I do a batch of this up every couple of months. My son, Max, and I love baths. Max has very sensitive skin, so he likes the soothing properties of the salt. I keep it in a kitchen canister in the bathroom. To use, I pour a scoop (about 1 gram size scoop) under the faucet, as the tub fills. It makes the whole bathroom smell wonderful.
Ingredients are very simple:
