I absolutely adore a deep bathtub and a warm bath. There’s very few other places I can completely relax and unwind like a bubble bath.
When I first heard about Beau Bain, I was intrigued by the scent descriptions – a delicious concoction of fresh-squeezed blood orange juice and ripe tangerines; gentle notes of bamboo, lemongrass and musk; the rosemary scent is laden with notes of mint, wood, and honey; crisp spearmint and zesty eucalyptus are undercut by familiar lavender and aromatic citrus peels.

How To Make Your Own Bath Salts

Today, I have a simple tutorial for making your own bath salts. I do a batch of this up every couple of months. My son, Max, and I love baths. Max has very sensitive skin, so he likes the soothing properties of the salt. I keep it in a kitchen canister in the bathroom. To use, I pour a scoop (about 1 gram size scoop) under the faucet, as the tub fills. It makes the whole bathroom smell wonderful.
Ingredients are very simple:
2 cups Sea Salt
2 cups Epsom Salt
15 drops essential oil (I usually use Lavendar)
