PROS :

The regrowth of hair may not be permanent but they won’t be as thick as it used to be. It’s also lighter than the original hair which blends more with the skin.

Regrowth of hair, if at all, is fairly slow. So no need to worry about it every 2 minutes.

If done properly, the procedure is painless. There might be a little twinge of pain but it’s nothing earth shattering like delivering a 9- pound baby without epidural. OUCH! Even the latter heals fast .

CONS :

Unfortunately, there is always a negative side. Especially if you don’t read the instructions properly. There is a reason why at-home laser hair removers like the one from TRIA needs to be activated through the phone. Not all skin complexions are the same. Medium brown and dark brown/black skin tones for example can not use the TRIA system.

People who tan also have to wait a certain amount of time before doing a laser hair removal process.

Depending on your budget, a $900 machine from TRIA could be beneficial for an at-home tool. Visiting a professional on the other hand could cost you around $500- or more depending on where you live each visit.

Sephora Pink Metro Train Case

Right now my beauty essentials are in different cases. I’m just lucky that our bathroom has a big enough closet with wide shelves where I store everything. I would love all my makeup stuff in one case though. It will probably save me a lot of space in the closet and my husband a headache.

What I like about this Sephora Metro Train ($98) is of course the obvious fact. The pink color. Then you open the case and it has all the compartments that will hold everything I have. It’s just the perfect size for what I need to which is 13.75 x 8.5 x 9.25″. The overall review is 4 1/5 stars. The testimonials all sound very promising as well.

I think I will add this in my birthday wishlist. Unless I get tempted to show the husband in the coming weeks just in time for our Anniversary. Do you have other recommendations I should know about? I’d appreciate your tips but make sure it’s nothing over $150. Thanks in advance.

Dior Lady Dior Compact, $75. Inspired by the “Lady Dior” handbag, here’s a mini-bag compact accented with it’s own sparkling metal and faux leather skin. The compact has cheek highlighter and glossy lip tint. $75 is kind of pricey for my wallet just for a compact. I’m not going to buy it of course. I just like looking at it. Maybe someday but definitely not today. Not in this economy anyway, heh. But don’t let me discourage you in buying it for yourself:) .

Well actually, the bad thing about this bronzer brush is considered a good thing by other people. It’s quite big that it takes too much, on the other hand, it’s big enough to give an even application on the face. So it’s safe to say that it will be a matter of preference.

Other bad review about it is that the bristles and fibers apparently fall too easily. Another review said otherwise. When it comes to mixed reviews like this, my best suggestion to solve the problem is to try it yourself. Then only YOU can find out whether you like it or not. Find it at Sephora for $26.
