One of my favorite products from Smashbox is their lip plumper. Unlike other lip plumpers that really over do it, this one gives you a luscious, naturally-looking yet plump pout. Recently, I discovered that Sephora was offering the Smashbox O-PLUMP Intuitive Lip Plumper as bonus in their Gloss & Glow Kit.
This kit features the plumper, along with O-GLOSS Intuitive Lip Color and O-GLOW Intuitive Cheek Color. These products offer a pretty shade of pink that you are sure to love.
Be careful when using it though — a little goes a long way, particularly with the O-GLOW. So use just a …read more

You can look good while doing good with the Global Goddess Beauty Chai Cheek Color in Chowrasta (great name!) This is a gorgeous, sweet pink shade. If you haven’t tried Global Goddess cosmetics, you should. I’ve experimented with quite a few of their eye shadows. The colors are terrific and they go on silky smooth.

When I wear blush, I opt for creamy blushes rather than traditional powders. The color is a bit more sheer and works well on my skin. Though some cream blushes fade easily, I have found a few that last for most of the day.
Recently, I tried Just a Pinch Gel Blush from M·A·C and I really love it. It actually works as a lip gloss, as well as a cheek color.
As a blush, it provides a sheer, dewy color that always looks fresh and rosy. Just a Pinch Gel Blush is priced at $19.50 and available online as well as …read more
Blending Blush for a Natural Look

I believe the only way to get natural looking blush is by using at least two shades of color. By adding a deeper shade in the hollow of your cheeks and a lighter color on the apples of your cheeks, you can blend them together for a natural look that highlights your beauty.
I love the convenient blush compacts that come with two or more colors. Though I don’t have just one favorite, here are few blushers that I tried recently that I really love.
Lancome Blush Subtil Duo
This compact contains a silky soft powder blush, along with a complementary shade of …read more

On spring and summer days, you want to look radiantly beautiful as you spend time outdoors. Therefore, you have to find makeup products that can withstand the heat and humidity. That’s not always easy. Many products melt under pressure!
I’m always on the lookout for cosmetics that are sweatproof, long-wearing or any other adjective that you want to use that means they stay in place. One of my favorite products is Becca Cosmetics Beach Tint.
This is a cream stain that I use for cheek color, but it’s actually designed for either cheeks or lips. They say it’s kissproof and waterproof, so …read more
