I love the versatility of shrugs, boleros or cropped jackets – whatever you prefer to call them.

Most modern wedding gowns are strapless. There are of course, oodles of exceptions, but walk into any bridal shop and I guarantee you that at least half of the dresses you see will be strapless. Here in the south, that percentage seems to go up even higher, with the predominant dress design being strapless, corsetted, and with a princess skirt. Nothing’s wrong with any of this, obviously, and trends will come and go, but my real question is: how will we wear them come fall?
