Dansko has just released a very clever design feature in their new equestrian-styled “Nevada” boot:
The tops of the boots are adjustable! There are leather panels at the top of the boot that can be opened or closed by buckles – allowing ladies with different calf sizes to wear them.
Now that’s a smart design!

I was a horse-crazy teenager, but always had a terrible time finding riding boots that would fit correctly. It’s not very comfortable to have numb legs from the knee down!
I ended up getting elastic gussets sewn into the insides of my boots – which is a great solution if you have access to a trust-worthy cobbler or shoe repair person.
