Karl Lagerfeld, Rihanna, Lily Allen, and many more made a stop at the Chanel Spring / Summer 2010 “runway” today. The show was not typical of many of the other shows we’ve seen so far this season. Have you had a chance to check out Chanel’s pre-fall 2009 focus on accessories video yet?
Oh my goodness – it sure makes me drool!
Lush, detailed jewelry, fabulous shoes and handbags – I can’t wait to see how these look in stores…
I don’t know if I could get away with wearing one of those ornate headdresses, but I’d definitely try out lots of other pieces.
One thing is for sure – Chanel is definitely making sure that this fall’s accessories are not minimalist.

Of course, whether or not we actually get to buy the “purse holder” is another thing…

Chanel, home of the iconic quilted handbag, has decided to attach one of those bags to the handlebars of a Segway.

That’s right – Chanel has branded a Segway.
The Chanel Segway comes complete with a quilted 2.55 handbag on the handlebars, Chanel- branded wheels and even quilted leather mudflaps.
So can we expect Karl Lagerfeld to buzz around fashion week on one of these?  Is Anna Wintour going to tour down the halls of Vogue on her customized Segway?
And when is Galliano going to release one???
