While I am a completely peace loving individual, I’m not really into wearing peace signs. Something about growing up in the 1980’s made me completely resistant to peace signs as a fashion statement, what was it? Oh yes, it was the complete and total everywhere-ness of the peace sign that lasted basically from the 1960’s to the 1990’s that killed it for me. I, for one, am totally disgusted by the cost of designer jeans. Mostly because I can’t afford them, but also because, seriously, should a trouser invented to be workwear really run upwards of $200?
