Diptyque’s L’Eau de Toracco: Review

Diptyque, of Paris, France, winner of the 2009 Fragrance Foundation’s Grand Prix du Parfum Awards, has a series of four citrus-scented fragrances available.
The company likes to build a story around their Colognes. They used the art of Desmond Knox Leet, one of the three founders of diptyque as inspiration for the newest scent, L’Eau de Toracco. The painting depicts travelers seated atop camels, passing citrus trees while on a journey. We are to imagine that their bags are filled with spices, traveling to the Mediterranean by way of far off lands.
