Here’s something I would LOVE to get as a gift! Burberry has updated their classic trench coat for Spring ‘08 and the Rosebank Cotton Trench Coat is a fantastic piece to add to her wardrobe.
This fabulous Burberry trench coat is an subtle eggshell shade in a cotton blend. The ruched panel side detailing, 3/4 sleeves and double-breasted front and empire waist gives it an ultra-feminine look that’s totally chic. She can wear this Burberry coat dressed up or down and for just about any occasion. $695 at Net-A-Porter

lorick country dress
Ah, dresses that are coats and coats that are dresses. Such a great idea. Lorick makes this pretty coat/dress. I like the flap (for lack of a more technical term) on the front and the simple cut of the coat otherwise. Spring rains are coming soon, you might need this.
Size 6 only (I know, that leaves me in the dust too) $499

beck plaid coat
Pretty simple otherwise, the collar of this coat is what makes it worthwhile to me. Pulled down it’s just a normal shawl collar. Pulled up, it looks a little more industrial/futuristic which is so very characteristic of House of Spy.
In small and medium only. ($336)

swing coat
I think swing coats are so cute. They’re simple, light and totally versatile. This Valerie Dumaine coat looks pretty comfy and I like the pleating at the collar.
35% Polyester / 35% Rayon / 30% Wool. ($132, from $165)

I know, it’s still a bit early to be thinking of spring, but this coat? This spring coat? I’d like it now.
