Kate Hudson Wearing Oscar De La Renta at the Bride Wars Premiere

Kate Hudson has looked just amazing the past few days through her media blitz while promoting the new movie Bride Wars. I’ve loved her co-star Anne Hathaway since she was in The Princess Diaries. Kate looked stunning last night on David Letterman and looked even better at the premiere for the movie itself while wearing a sparkling two piece black and white geometric mermaid shaped Oscar De La Renta gown.

Come a few days from now I’m sure there will be a few knock-off dresses just like this gown, but if you want to keep it all in the Oscar De La Renta family, might I suggest this Black Silk Faille Shibori Dress. It has the same black and white feel of Hudson’s dress, but in a cocktail style. It has a pleated waist and lands about 23 inches from the natural waist. You’ll have to pre-order this beauty though. It is priced at $2,990.

Oh and p.s. here she is at David Letterman-I didn’t want to leave you all hanging.

If the classic black cocktail dress is making you yawn, add a splash of red to the mix and heat things up in style:

The Hervé Léger Two-Tone Bandage Dress allows you to enjoy a few LBD moments, with a twist.  This off-the-shoulder, skin-tight dress will hug your curves and then some, a simple but sophisticated piece that will attract plenty of attention.

It’s finished off with a bright red/orange band on the neckline - a dramatic finish for your debut.

When the night calls for partyworthy style with class, this wool crepe and satin combination is an ideal match. The satin band on the bodice ties up as an instant bow, and a pleat down the front adds some contrast. Finished off with glitzy chain straps, you don’t need any more accessories.

Well, besides a pair of sequined shoes.
