Rachel Zoe says cocktail rings are an important investment in a dwindling economy. Well, I don’t really agree with her on most things, but I’m going to have to concur on this one. Although, unlike Zoe, I don’t really think you need to invest in something pricey to make a statement. Check this gorgeous piece:

I love the unusually shaped ring, and the way it’s shape mimics the shape of the stone. The black and silver heavy metal look will go with a ton of styles, too. Plus, all the silver is recycled, which makes it really eco-friendly. Love that. Available for $78 from Elisa’s Here Jewelry.

Stone & Wood Cocktail Rings

I love the combination of natural stones and wood – it’s clean, elegant and unexpected.

Fabrizio Giannone has created these gorgeous cocktail rings using naturally colored semi-precious stones and dark “Bacurupu” wood, accented with a fine gold band.

The rings are available in purple amethyst,

Yellow citrine and…

Natural pink quartz.

The rings are also available in smoky quartz (grey stone) and green aventurine (green glass mixed with copper dust).
