Hooded Scarf is a Must-Have for Fall

I’ve added another accessory to my list of Must-Haves for Fall: the hooded scarf. Similar to the snood, the hooded scarf is versatile and stylish. I am always misplacing hats, scarves, and gloves in the winter so I am so happy to discover accessories that cut down on the amount of items that I need to carry around with me. The hooded scarf combines the function of the hat and scarf by providing cold weather protection for the top of the head, ears, AND neck with one piece.
The look is similar to the silk scarves that you wrap around your …read more
Gorgeous Faux Fur Must-Have Pieces for Fall

Faux fur outerwear, vests, and accessories are one of the hottest and most luxurious items this Fall. Fur has always been to-die-for, but now we can wrap ourselves in plush soft fur without any guilt! Faux fur looks and feels great and is so much more environmentally-friendly than the real deal. As faux fur materials become more realistic in feel, I’m certain that all designers will start moving in this direction.
Curations with Stefani Greenfield is launching an amazing collection of faux fur pieces on Tuesday, October 20 on HSN. You can watch the show from 5-6pm on Tuesday, October 20 …read more

From Colorado to Pennsylvania the first snow has fallen and I’m sure stores all over the place are feeling the mad dash to find cold weather accessories. If you’re one of those who are feeling the chill then you may be looking for something to keep you extra warm at the upcoming football games, school outings or just general errands. And, if you’re a resident of wimp town, as I am, you’ll need something to cover your ears and your head when the temperature dips below sixty degree.
That’s why snoods (which I just found out about earlier this season!), are …read more
Pockets-A-Plenty Scarf at Anthropologie

I fell in love with the nostalgic-style photos on the Anthropologie website that featured outfits that incorporated their newest cold weather items like colorful soft sweaters, scarves, hats, and gloves. This image was my absolute favorite! I think this scarf is absolutely fabulous…
The Pockets-A-Plenty Scarf is a 74″ long ribbed taupe scarf that is adorned with tons of knobby pockets and knots. This is such a whimsical piece that there is even a tiny little red knit bird that hangs from a pocket and just welcomes you to find a perch for him amongst your pocket baubles. Adorable!

I have 10 left handed mittens

Don’t ask me why, but I lose mittens like there is no tomorrow! In our basement, we have a laundry basket and at the end of the season, all of the gloves, mittens, scarves, hats etc. all get thrown. So why is it that only the left handed gloves and mittens seem to find their way into the basket? Just last week, we were going through the basket and we could scarcely make up one pair. I think that I’m going to have to come up with a new way of storing our winter accessories. I think that we have …read more
