Chocolate brown is a fabulous alternative to black for evening. This chocolate silk tiered gown by Tadashi is a unique choice.

David’s Bridal is participating in Brides Magazine Something Pink Campaign. From October 7 – December 15, 2008, they will make a donation to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) for every bridal gown sold in their stores (up to a $25,000 maximum).

Brides magazine has gathered 21 of the world’s most celebrated dress designers and asked each to create a pink wedding wedding gown. These wedding dresses will be in stores across the country in October, with a portion of sales going to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
On October 14th, Brides magazine’s “Something Pink” issue hits stands in which they reveal the gorgeous pink wedding gowns along with a series of dedicated features to the fight against the disease. The magazine will include 23 pages of fashion photos showcasing the beautiful designs.

As I’m sure you know, Mercedes-Benz Spring 2009 Fashion Week is going on right now in New York. One of my favorite collections is from Carolina Herrera. Check out the fabulous use of colors and textures, including feathers, sequins ruffles and lace. I adore the bright yellow ruffled gown.

Sweet and sexy, this satin gown from ABS is sure to make a dramatic statement. Featuring a V-neckline, criss-cross back straps and a mermaid train, the shape of this gown is feminine and beautiful.
