I am still loving hair accessories line New York Nat! I discovered Natalie Ann Griffith’s glamorous and unique headbands about a month ago when she was hosting a fabulous Sweepstakes for a reader to win six New York Nat headbands.
New York Nat just released a beautiful holiday collection of Egyptian-inspired pieces. The six headbands in the collection use vivid colors of turquoise, fuschia, and gold with enormous brighly colored gemstones and Swarovski crystals. The styles are eye-catching and unique, which makes them the perfect accessory to spice up your favorite black cocktail dress for an upcoming holiday party.

Otrera Hamsa and Evil Eye Scarves

The symbol of the Evil Eye is popular in Greek culture because it is said to ward off the evil spells that are cast by an envious glance. Otrera founder Elle Sakellis was inspired by the symbol of the Evil Eye from her frequent travels to visit family in Mykonos and had the idea of bringing this traditional and meaningful symbol into high fashion. She created a bold pattern in many vibrant colors that featured the iconic Evil Eye and used the fabric to create beautiful silk chiffon scarves.

Return of the Classic Timex 80 Watch

I love all of these retro product comebacks! I definitely had an old school plastic Timex with the signature Indiglo backlit display that I got at a drugstore when I was in grade school. Now the original simple plastic Timex watch that was popular in the 1980’s has been released in new vibrant colors and updated designs as the Timex 80.
I first spotted the Timex 80 on high-end fashion online retailer Net-A-Porter’s website and found it quite amusing that this simple little watch was now being sold next to Christian Louboutins. But I also have to admit that I immediately …read more

Coach Has New Poppy Line

Coach has a new line that debuted in July called Poppy. Poppy is intended as a budget-friendly line for Coach, with prices staying just slightly below what most Coach products would cost. The prices are barely lower, so I would say that the main difference between the two lines is the use of color. Just like the name suggests, the collection is full of bold saturated colors like fuschia, turquoise, purple, and orange.
Poppy is designed for a younger crowd with rhinestone tiaras, shiny metallics, and tons of saturated colors on everything! This collection is definitely not about subtlety. Even though …read more
Karen Walker Sunglasses for Vampires

With the rampant popularity of Twilight and other vampire storyline copycats, Karen Walker has produced a creative and humorous “Celebrate Sun” sunglasses line for summer. If a vampire can’t be out during the daytime, why don’t they just put on a good pair of shades? The ad campaign is truly genious with adorable hipsters donning a funky pair of Karen Walker shades and, of course, a large pair of fangs. So cute!
You can see the rest of the ad campaign on The Pipeline.
