Otrera Evil Eye Scarf in Green $198

Now the Evil Eye scarves have become the most recognizable piece from Otrera as they have made their way into the closets of fabulous celebrities and high-end department stores like Henri Bendel’s and Intermix.  The Evil Eye scarf is now being sold in stores around the world!

The sequel to the Evil Eye scarf is the new Hamsa scarf from Otrera which features the hamsa hand with the evil eye in its palm.  In traditional Islamic and Jewish culture, the hand is an amulet with magical powers to offer protection and to ward off the evil eye.

Otrera Hamsa and Evil Eye Scarves

I first spotted the Timex 80 on high-end fashion online retailer Net-A-Porter’s website and found it quite amusing that this simple little watch was now being sold next to Christian Louboutins.  But I also have to admit that I immediately wanted one!  Now I have been spotting this retro watch at every high end department store.  I love all the bright colors and whimsical feel of this timeless style.

Timex 80 Pink Blue and Lime Tri-Colour Watch $82.50

The popularity of the Timex 80 has made some of the best colors slightly difficult to track down.  This candy-colored style is my absolute favorite, but I couldn’t find it in any American department stores.  It’s so fabulous!

This is the classic white stainless steel elastic strap design…definitely a close second.  This is the perfect casual women’s watch.

Timex 80 Jumbo Digital Watch in Red Mars $60

This is the new Jumbo design from the Timex 80 Universe Collection.  This is an oversized update to the original 1980’s version.  It is also available in tons of fun colors like Blue Neptune, Pink Venus, and Green Earth.

I originally discovered Moxsie through the funky Cassius Eyewear collection that is being worn by celebrities like Kanye West and Rihanna.  Moxsie also has stylish and vividly colored sunglasses from independent designer Doubledown NYC.

Doubledown NYC eightyfourseries in Blue $180

The eightyfourseries is a re-make of an original pair of sunglasses that debuted in 1984.  The updated version has the same square frames and gold detailed temples, but is paired with new brightly colored acetate and gradient lenses.  I love the funky retro feel with the boxy frames and thick flashy gold.  Doubledown NYC has styles that are inspired by important eras of music and hiphop culture.  The eightyfourseries is based on the turning point in the 1980’s when the Doubledown founder believes that “hiphop became a global phenomenon.”

I love this color!  This is a perfect little soft slouchy beret with a handmade feel and big holes in the knit to keep you cool.  This design also comes in grey, mustard, black, or ivory.

This beret has a unique foral pattern constructed with an extremely open knit.  You could definitely wear this when the weather is still warm.  This design is also available in black, cream, or navy.

This soft ivory beret has a beautiful knit pattern and a ribbed border for a comfortable fit.  I like to knit these types of things, but at this price it’s really crazy not to buy one in all three colors!

This is a simple and affordable style in a unique and flattering shade of green with brown lenses.  I like the thin minimalistic frames with just a tiny metal detail on the temple.  This style also looks great in yellow and translucent burnt orange.

If you are a pink kind of girl, these are so perfect!  I love the shocking solid pink paired with the white and gold on the chunky plastic aviator style.  These remind me of a girl who can kick it with the boys…

This is one of anon’s most unique styles with perfectly circular lenses and a matte finish baby blue color on the frames.  These are guaranteed to attract some attention!  The circular lens is a fashion forward style this summer…

Marc Jacobs Round Wayfarer in Dark Green $118 (reg. $330)

The Marc Jacobs sunglasses featured in the sale have thick colorful plastic frames and oversized lenses, which goes along with the styles that were popular this summer.  Many of the styles feature flashy embellishments along the temple sides with semi-precious stone mosaics, tortoise shell and gold buckles, and metal inlays.  I’m not usually a big fan of chunky pieces along the temple, but of course Marc Jacobs pulls it off.

A lot of these sunglasses styles are very unique and unlike any of the Marc Jacobs sunglasses that I saw at stores this season…

The editors at Italian music and fashion magazine, Daniel and Simon Beckerman, created the Super line in response to a lack of street culture expression in the high quality sunglasses made by designers like Gucci and D&G.  They wanted to create a fun and colorful line that their young friends would enjoy wearing, but would also provide adequate UV protection.

The Flat Top style is probably one of the most recognizable from Super and is typical of their modern and simple design aesthetic.

If you have noticed the Steve Erkel look that has been popular with hipsters lately, then you have witnessed the influence of Super sunglasses.  These exaggerated thick colored frames with clear lenses are for really pushing the limit of street fashion.

Retrosuperfuture SUPER Sunglasses

Poppy is designed for a younger crowd with rhinestone tiaras, shiny metallics, and tons of saturated colors on everything!  This collection is definitely not about subtlety.  Even though the line is designed with the Gossip Girl-aged crowd in mind, with a fun summer look there are definitely some items that adults will be sporting as well.

Coach Poppy New Fedora $178

I love this fedora!  This is one of my picks that adults could wear because it has a great mix of the classic Coach logo pattern with just a tiny accent of the new Coach Poppy logo pattern.  This is the only hat in the Poppy collection, but I hope they do more!

Adult are probably not going to be into this one, but there is a cute little tiara in the Poppy collection.  At $148 this is definitely not for Halloween!  As far as tiaras go, I like that it has delicate pave diamonds and large enamel pieces rather than the tons of rhinestones.
