Forget the fact that Davine’s website is thoroughly confusing. This is totally irrelevant. Once you get your hands on a sample of Davines Natural Tech Nourishing Hairbuilding Pak, you’ll quickly get past all the high-tech product speak.
Packed with hair strengthening amino acids, this treatment is meant to be used after once a week. After shampooing, apply a small amount (note: If you have fine hair, make it a teeny tiny amount and avoid using it too close to your scalp or you’ll be left with limp locks) and leave in your hair for 10 minutes. Pureology Hydrating Shampoo and Conditioner

I’m all about chemical-free living.
Pureology Hydrate Shampoo and Conditioner is part of their Serious Colour Care line.
I’ve been trying to avoid products with sulfates in them, and Pureology is all nature. It also is great for keeping my hair feeling fresh and vibrant, which is super important when you go to posh events every night! If you have keratin treatments done, this won’t pull out the process – an obvious added benefit.
All my favorite salons use this brand – another reason this is probably a must-have addition, and at quality price and value!

You are likely to find this product if you are visiting an exclusive hotel – I tried it when I was staying at the Water Club in Atlantic City – but you can buy it right at Nordstrom too.
It’s meant to stimulate and regenerate dry and damaged hair, using a complex of five essential oils – angelica, lavender, geranium, ylang-ylang, and patchouli. It seems fab, and really made my hair feel shiny and smooth!
In choosing a conditioner, look for one that detangles and smoothes, and adds luster to your hair without weighing it down. (No one wants to look …read more

Rene Furterer’s Myrrehea Anti-Frizz is getting quite the online buzz.
While it may sound like just another in an extremely long line of hair conditioners, it is actually a really good choice for dealing with especially rebellious hair.
Working as a masque, it helps to smooth and create hydration from the roots on out. Once you do this, hair becomes a lot easier to manage and style.
Take it from me – who has an almost legendary issue with frizz – getting rid of a frizzy situation is the greater part of the battle. Once you achieve that, no matter what your hair …read more

Herbal Essences Hydralicious Reconditioning shampoo and conditioner for dry or damaged hair is infused with shea extracts, moisturizers, and hawaiian sea silk.
It gets 4.5 out of 5 stars when rated by users at the Herbal Essences website. My family, we tried both shampoo and conditioner. In our house, we have 3 girls with long hair and 2 boys with short.
The boys, they are most interested in something that smells good, which this does. Herbal Essences, that’s part of their thing – they all smell great. Herbal Essence Hydralicious Reconditioning has a scent that is grape-like or raspberry, a fruitiness that is very …read more
A friendly note to L’Oreal’s haircare division

I think it might be worth a shot to write an open letter to L’Oreal, with a bit of friendly advice, so here goes. I purchased a bottle of their reformulated Vive Pro conditioner. It’s for “unmanageable hair” which is definitely what I have going on. The formula is great – I use a pretty good amount, leave it on for five minutes, and comb my hair then let it air dry. With just a little bit of styling creme, my hair looks passable. That’s really all I’m aiming for these days.
With such a decent formula, …read more
