they’re sweetening the contest deal with a gift certificate!

Turns out that the Marketing Director saw my original post and wants to contribute to the contest by offering the winning reader with a true handbag addiction a $50 gift certificate!! All you have to do is in 50 words or less, tell us why you think you’re so bad off and weak in the handbag department. The winner wins the $50 gift certificate from Bag, Borrow or Steal and a $10 Amazon gift certificate from me. Yep, that’s all the money I have because I used the rest to buy my latest handbag. Whatever!

Bag, Borrow or Steal hosted this incredible handbag contest at the end of last year, and I thought it would be a cute idea to try it here on this blog. Or at least a version of it.

Are you a handbag-aholic? What makes you love your handbag soooo much? Tell us in 50 words or less why you think you are a handbag-aholic. Send me your answers by July 31 and we’ll all share in the fun. The most creative answer will win a $10 gift certificate to Amazon.com, so, bag away!

The Kelly Ripa Designer Handbag Contest Is FUN!!

I posted last weekend about the cool contest that Kelly Ripa is doing with Electrolux. If you haven’t already registered, go ahead and sign up to play the game to win a suite of Electrolux appliances and designer handbags. Since I started playing Saturday night, I have had a LOT of fun. It’s pretty cool to match up Kelly’s outfits and see her fashion style choices.

The bags I initially chose were:
