I love shoes, I love luxury, I love luxury shoes. So, putting these two together just made my day. Hopefully it will make your day too. Well, until you realize these MM6 Maison Martine Margiela Toe Sock Sadals look ridiculous. 
Someone please explain to me why I would want to wear a flat, with a spot for my toe with a leg warmer attached…that also costs $395. Seriously. This looks beyond ridiculous.  I am all for fashion risks and rebellion, but I want to know who in the house of fashion said these shoes were alright to go to production.

Winter 2009-2010 looks have been appearing for weeks on end now. From New York to Milan, designers all over the place have been showcasing the designs they have ate, dreamt and slept on for months.
Now, I appreciate a good design when I see one. I love a good avant-garde look when I see it. I laugh at it and say, “Holy cow, when would anyone actually wear that look?”
