The best of country music came out last night for the 2009 Country Music Awards.
The musicians brought out their jewels and hit the red carpet with some serious glamor factor. Singer Martina McBride sported an usual cuff bracelet along with the more standard red carpet jewelry of sparkly earrings and a big cocktail ring:
I love the bold look of this wide cuff bracelet – it adds an interesting edge to her otherwise-classic red carpet look. If you’d like to try out your own wide silver cuff bracelet, I’ve got a few suggestions for you:

Wide metal cuff bracelets are a hot trend these days, so for today’s Weekend Etsy Pick I went browsing through their bracelet section to see what I could find.
Boy, did I hit paydirt! I found everything from delicate, polished cuff bracelets, embellished with faceted stones to big, chunky statement pieces.
I had a terrible time narrowing down my choices to just one bracelet, but in the end, this sterling silver cuff won out:

Wide, lacy looking metal cuff bracelets are showing up all over the place these days.
They’re an easy, comfortable way to add a big statement with your jewelry, but are still very wearable. Look for a bracelet with an opening, rather than one that slides over your hand – it’s easier for women with larger wrists to wear.
How’s your jewelry budget for fall? If it’s more ramen noodles than steak and champagne, I’ve got a trendy option that won’t break the bank.
First, my splurge pick – the Kate Spade “Deco Lace Delano” cuff bracelet is made from rose gold and features …read more

Designer Jessica Kagan Cushman has a unique take on the cuff bracelet. Her sleek designs can feature the seven deadly sins, astrological signs or even images that look like reproductions from a Victorian book.
Of course, I have to mention her lovely resin butterfly cuff bracelet:
This bracelet is for “ones of those days” – when you feel the need to warn the world….
This bracelet makes me giggle every time I read it – “I’m sorry, but all questions must be submitted in writing“:

I’m a big fan of Emilio Pucci’s bold, bright geometric prints, so I was definitely excited when I saw these new floral cuff bracelets!
Don’t get me wrong – these bracelets are a lot of look – and I wouldn’t go with a lot more jewelry than this with one outfit. But as the accent piece for your outfit, these bracelets will add a ton of style.
And how can you go wrong with Pucci and flowers in one piece of jewelry…
If the pink isn’t quite your style, there is also a black bracelet as well:

Turquoise is becoming more and more popular in jewelry once again. It’s showing up everywhere from Project Runway to high-end luxury jewelry.
Jewelry designer Michelle Roy has taken polished turquoise cabochons and mounted them onto leather to create her unique cuff bracelets:
I think the bracelets would be a great accent to a casual outfit – maybe with jeans and a crisp white blouse for lunch, or even a summery dress for a fun evening out with friends!
You can also add another dash of color and add some red coral to the bracelet as well.
