Dace is slightly girly, but definitely modern. I want these plaid looks for winter. What is it about red plaid that makes me thing about fires and hot chocolate?

Dace Moore, who make this wonderful stuff is a Canadian. Not too many Canadian designers hitting it huge, but there are lots of great undiscovered ones. She’s been working on Dace since 2002. She learned to sew as a mom and she has a lot of talent to go along with her degree from Blanche Macdonald.d

This is J. Crew grown up, boys and girls, and it’s gorgeous.

designer spotlight: dace

Dace has a bunch of comfortable stuff out right now, but I caught this tunic  on Paper-Doll and had to post. It’s got big pockets and would look great with some skinny jeans. ($184)
