The Dolce & Gabbana Miss Escape Floral Tote ($995) is much tamer in comparison (and a teeny bit cheaper) and thus more wearable and versatile. Perfect as an every day bag, this will take you from work to weekend shopping trips.  What strikes me about this bag is the floral print. It almost has a bit of a vintage, even Victorian feel to the pattern.

This would look wonderful for the Spring and Summer months! That is, if you can wait that long to use it. For Fall, this bag will perk up your outfits and put a smile on your face. The look showcases precious yellow, white and rose gold. The eyes are intense with metallics and matte brown, combined with black mascara. Cheeks are highlighted with a new shade of blush in Caramel (right). And the lips are bold, shiny and red. It’s a very feminine collection that is perfect for holiday parties and special events.  I love glamorous makeup at holiday time and I’m really looking forward to this makeup.

Dolce & Gabbana: The Golden Beams Collection

The fall beauty trends have already hit stores! So be sure to snatch up some of autumn’s hottest eye shadows.

Dolce & Gabbana has reinvented the purples, steel blues and grays that were so stylish in the eighties, making them fun again!

The perfect set of these shades is D&G’s Smooth Eye Colour Quad in “Night”

This quad contains four velvety shades of light metal gray, dark cobalt blue, lush lavender and violet!

There are endless color combinations.

For instance, lightly sweep the gray onto the lid as your base color.

Then apply the lavender color.

Using an eye crease blending brush apply the violet shade into the crease as a muted contour.

If you want a stronger contour use the dark cobalt color instead.

Next take an angled eyeliner brush and apply the dark cobalt blue along the lash line.

You can even apply some of the lavender color underneath the bottom lash line to make the eyes pop.

I’m a bit disappointed that bags by Chloe, Marc Jacobs, Botkier, Dior and Miu Miu didn’t make the list!  I do respect this selection because each bag is stylish and has details to make it stand out from the rest.  Although most of these bags are pretty expensive and quite dramatic, like the over $3K red Fendi and the Bottega Veneta, they’re still wearable, only if your outfit is sleek and simple. In other words, let your bag do all the talking! The other bags on the list lean towards the classic side and would make worthy investments.

If it were me and these were my only choices, I’d choose the Gucci Icon Bit Shoulder Bag. It’s simple enough to use every day but stylish enough to not get boring.
