I have something against totally plain tees. I don’t know what it is, but unless it’s layered under something else, I just don’t wear them. Maybe because everyone else does. I want my tees to have a little extra personality. A ruffle here and a pleat there can make all the difference. This adorable bib tee by OrganiK Revolution totally caught my eye. Check it:
First of all, I am really digging the soft grey taupe color, which they call “stormy cliffs”. And the combo of cute and edgy is pretty spot on. The stripey bib creates a sort of sailor …read more
Bamboo Velour and Silk Wedding Gown

This gown by Econica has everything. It’s simple, chic, modern, inexpensive, and made of environmentally friendly organic materials. And it’s under $400. And it looks amazing. Unbelievable.
I love the body skimming sheath silhouette, and the soft drape of the fabrics. The asymmetrical ruffle detail goes from top to bottom, which creates a long, lean, unbroken line that lengthens the body. But the ruffle doesn’t take away from the understated elegance of the design. It is just fluffy enough to create interest without adding bulk or volume. Available for $380 from Econica.

Until I saw this totally gorg Fish Handbag by Neutra. I love the way they have incorporated the tire imprinting into the design without it looking too gimmicky. And I love the simple sleek design of the bag, it’s something that I could and would take everywhere. …read more

Eco-Chic by Elroy

Okay, I’ll be honest. When I think eco-chic, images of heavy-soled sandals and stiff hemp dresses dance through my head. I guess I’m like most people, I want to buy green clothing, but I’m waiting for it to start looking a little cooler. Canadian designer, Leanne McElroy is trying to change how people think of eco-chic, and with dresses like this, I’d say she’s succeeding.
Elroy is all clean design, and I don’t just mean environmentally. McElroy’s use of both crisp pleating and soft gathers demonstrates an attention to detail that has been lacking in the eco-fashion universe. It seems like …read more
