Wedding gown trends are tending towards simpler, less fussy styles. It could be the recession or it could be fashion spurning this on. Either way, I’m all for paring down in the dress department and letting your natural beauty shine through.
This eco-friendly Chameleon Gown has a lot going for it. The simple a-line skirt and empire waist make it a great choice for almost any figure, and the straps that are twisted and wrapped around the waist here are totally convertible. Here are some other fabulous ways to wear this gown.
I love the wrapped, strapless version of the dress, but …read more
His & Hers Teacup Set by Trixie Delicious

Looking for the perfect wedding gift for a quirky couple? Well, before you buy that blender, make sure they don’t already have one, okay, because when I got married, we got like six blenders. My favorite gift, besides an expensive piece of art, was a set of towels from my friend Christy, because they actually looked like something I would put in my house. These also look like something I would put in my house.
Adorable, right? They look straight out of the Anthropologie catalog. But instead of supporting some corporate Made in China crap, these are re-worked vintage cups and …read more

I am extremely committed to keeping my skin healthy, blemish-free, and moisturized. I try to get facials regularly so that I can consult with an aesthetician if I see any changes in my skin. I have a serious routine that I follow every morning and night to keep my skin soft and hopefully prevent wrinkles someday! I take skincare very seriously.
I recently corresponded with supermodel Sunny Griffin about her natural botanical skincare line Astara and she offered to send me samples of her products so that I could find out for myself how they look, feel, smell…and work! I am …read more

There is nothing worse than being outside in the heat with a face full of heavy makeup dripping down your cheeks. It doesn’t look good and it feels even worse – but we still have to look good during the summer, right? Designer Tracy Russomano is the talented woman behind the, 100% animal friendly, Redhanded Bags. Redhanded Bags are the producers of handmade, fair trade bags made of faux leather. These earth-friendly designer bags are not only cute and unique but they’re made well.
This simple Trixie Hobo ($155) is a large hobo that measures 12″ x 12″ x 4″. It comes in blue and silver (which would be wonderful for fall!) mesh faux leather and features two interior pockets, nickel hardware, magnetic snap closures. It would work very well as an every day bag as the design is simple and elegant.

The Farmaesthetics skincare line was established in 1999 by Brenda Brock when she began to sell her products from an organic farm.
Brenda’s skincare recipes blend the “kitchen chemistry” of her rural farming heritage with the modern science of cosmetic manufacturing.
The skin care line features products which are free from preservatives, parabens, dyes and petroleum. They use organically grown herbs and flowers and put a new light on the term sustainable beauty.
This introductory 6-piece collection, Sustainable Beauty Travel Kit ($58), by Farmaesthetics will give you everything you need if you’re unfamiliar with the brand.

The Fashion Show: Episode 4 Best and Worst

This week on The Fashion Show, Reco won with his teeny little black minidress designed to compliment Yves saint Laurent mesh heels, which happen to be some of the hottest shoes to step off the runway. An advantage for him? Yes, I think so.
My personal favorite is still Angel’s gorgeous shirt dress, paired with blue and red Stella McCartney heels. This dress is just so funky and wearable – it just looks effortlessly chic, which I think takes a tremendous amount of skill. I hope Angel can keep up and continue delivering in the coming weeks.
I also really enjoyed Daniella’s …read more
