Heavily embellished shoes are popping up all over the runways during Milan Fashion Week.
Dsquared2 presented shoes that seem to have their own jewelry – complete with rhinestones, chains and beaded “necklaces”:

Dsquared2 also had fun with leopard print:

I have to admit, I do like the contrast between the animal print and the bold sky blue piping…
At first glance, I thought that Dolce & Gabbana had accented their platform wedges with buttons (very Coraline), but I took a close look and discovered that the shoes are covered with embroidery and little fabric circles:
