Why hello there 1987, I’ve missed you. I will bet all of you that I can dig up a picture or two that showcases family members of mine wearing dresses much like this Erin Fetherston Marching Dress. I still haven’t quite decided whether this dress, though, showcases the good qualities of the 1980s or the bad qualities of the 1980s. What do you all think?

Fall-ing for Capes

The temperature has barely hit 85 degrees three days in a row in New York City, and I’m already yearning for fall fashion. One word: capes. Two: capes and capelets. These little darlings are often overlooked, considered impractical and costumey. But they popped up all over the fall 2009 runway, assuming a wide range of personalities.
